- Acting for Two: In the English dub of the Animated Adaptation, Aaron Campbell voices both Pei Ming and his descendent Pei Su.
- Actor-Shared Background: Howard Wang, who voices Xie Lian in the English dub of the Animated Adaptation, can speak Mandarin just like his character. He thus has the best pronunciation of the characters' names and titles out of everyone else (whose pronunciations vary from decent to barely existent).
- All-Star Cast: The Japanese dub of the Animated Adaptation comprises an impressive lineup of veteran or big-name voice actors, such as Hiroshi Kamiya, Jun Fukuyama, Kana Hanazawa, Makoto Furukawa and Jun'ichi Suwabe.
- Ascended Fanon: Majority of the fandom considers Hua Cheng's animal to be a fox while Xie Lian's is a ferret. The official donghua later made artwork of the two holding the other's respective animal, with Hua Cheng a fox and Xie Lan (while not a ferret) a weasel.
- The Other Darrin:
- Jiang Guangtao, Xie Lian's voice actor in the first season of the donghua, is replaced by Deng Youxi for Season 2 onwards after the public announcement of the former's involvement in an embezzlement scandal.
- Pei Ming was voiced by Tu Xiongfei in Season 1 of the Animated Adaptation. In Season 2, he's voiced by Shun Zi instead.
- Promoted Fanboy: The English licensor Seven Seas Entertainment recruited the main Heaven Official’s Blessing: Tian Guan Ci Fu English fan translator Suika to work on the official translation and a popular Heaven Official’s Blessing: Tian Guan Ci Fu fanartist ZeldaCW to provide the interior art.
- What Could Have Been: In an interview with Mo Xiang Tong Xiu, she mentioned thinking of writing Hua Cheng humming a song he learned from his mother in her native tongue before ultimately scrapping the idea.
