• Acting for Two:
  • In Frankenstein vs Hulk, Freshy Kanal's both the voice of the doctor and one of the voices of the creature.
  • Dustin also portrays Trevor Henderson physically and provides the voice of Long Horse in "Trevor Henderson vs. Corpse Husband".
    • In the same battle above, Alex M. does Corpse's voice and Siren Head when he's Voice Changeling Corpse.
  • Mike Choe plays Seong Gihun and provides the voice of the Front Man in Mr. Beast vs. Squid Game.
  • Littleflecks voices Red Guy, Darren The Identification Card and Rambley The Record Player in "Don't Hug Me I'm Scared vs. The Truman Show".
    • Connor Quest is the body actor for Red Guy and also plays one of the Executives.
• Actor-Shared Background:
  • The Pied Piper is voiced by Dustin, and they're both German.
  • The Professor is voiced by Keyblade, and they're both Spanish.
  • Harry Houdini was Hungarian (born Erich Weisz) and he's played by Homokora, who's also Hungarian.
  • Both Harrison Cole and Dan Bull (actor and voice of Boris Johnson, respectively) are British like him.
• Approval of God:
  • The Jeff The Killer vs. Jason Dean battle received a "Solid" from ERB themselves!
  • On the other end, Dustin does occasionally comment on reaction videos to his rap battles showing appreciation.
• Author's Saving Throw: Dustin stated that the Large-Ham Announcer was removed from Part 5 onward due to all the "ERB copycat channel" comments.
• Cast the Runner-Up: Jack Horner was initially supposed to be voiced by Doobus Goobus, but Freshy found someone that did a better impression of him. Doobus cameoed as the Ethical Bug instead.
  Doobus Goobus: This was a blessing in disguise cause now none of you will ever know how shitty I am at rapping lol.
• Creator Backlash:
  • Dustin has stated on his Discord server that he doesn't think Sonic vs. The Flash deserves to be his most popular rap battle.
  • He's also ashamed to look back on NF vs. Billie Eilish since it contained a harsh lyric about NF's mother's death.
  • The reason why Scribblenauts vs. Little Big Planet is unlisted as mentioned below is because Dustin sees it as bad, as he told a commentator who asked on the video.
  • Some of the frequent channel artists have talked on Twitter about their work they're the most ashamed of for the series.
    • Lew Kreerdun stated that he initially disliked his own work on King Julien vs King Louie, but eventually made peace with it and nowadays finds it fun. He also expressed a similar feeling to a lesser extent towards Jaws vs Nessie in the same thread.
    • CyanCoat has yet to fully watch the second verses of Yuri vs Toko Fukawa due to his dissatisfaction with his drawings on that video.
    • RobotRichie followed, saying that they're discontent with Kirby vs The Very Hungry Caterpillar from an animation standpoint. They still like the video, but they feel that it gets way too much praise compared to some of their better work, pointing towards Nutcracker vs Gingerbread Man as an example.
    • Skitzy, the person who physically portrayed MrBeast, has said that he enjoyed the role and the memetic popularity it got, but that he is disappointed that it has overshadowed his personal work, and that he would prefer to move on from it.
• Cross-Dressing Voice:
  • Freshy himself as Yubaba and Zelda Goldman.
  • Peachumari as Naruto.

• Disowned Adaptation: Dustin has revealed that Trevor Henderson has seen Corpse Husband vs. Trevor Henderson, however he has expressed negative feelings towards him being portrayed in the battle as a character and while he has allowed the video to stay up, he has asked for him and his characters to not be portrayed in any future rap battles.
• Fake Brit:
  • HalaCG as Alice, Daenerys Targaryen and Maleficent.
    • GarbageGothic also plays Alice in the original demo.
  • Michaela Laws as the Queen of Hearts.
  • Freeced as Billy Butcher.
• Fake Irish: American Freeced as St. Patrick.
• Fake Nationality: German Freshy as The Rolling Giant, who was inspired by a real life statue of French botanist Julien Reverchon.
• Fake Russian: German Freshy as The Nutcracker.
• Irony As They Are Cast: The Stupendium, known for the few-and-far-between swearing in their videos, curses more often as Count Olaf and Guy Fawkes.
• Meaningful Release Date: Boris Johnson vs. The Penguin was released on 5th September, the last day Johnson was Prime Minister before being replaced by Liz Truss.
  • Sandman vs. Tooth Fairy was released on October 28th, which is the shared birthday of Dustin, Azia and Light who play Sandman, Tooth Fairy and Boogeyman in the battle.
• Meme Acknowledgement: Many production crew members acknowledged the "MR BEEEEEAST" meme, and the thumbnail of the rap battle he was in got changed to use the red-circle-and-arrow shot from the intro.
• Milestone Celebration: In a way: Nathan Drake vs Tintin's opening credits mention that it's the hundredth rap battle on the channel and it's one of the most elaborate and ambitious videos on the channel thus far.
• Missing Episode: You won't find Scribblenauts vs. Little Big Planet in the channel's videos because it was unlisted and can only be viewed in the playlists.
• Non-Singing Voice: It's fairly common for the people performing the raps and the people physically appearing in the video to be separate.
• Official Fan-Submitted Content: Like ERB, Freshy eventually opened a Patreon Discord server to work on lyrics with fans.
• The Other Darrin:
  • Yuri was voiced by Illuminasium in Monika vs. Harley Quinn, then K.C took the role in Yuri vs. Toko Fukawa.
  • Bruce Banner's cameo in Loki vs Count Olaf was voiced by Commander Jacob, but in his battle with Frankenstein and his monster he's voiced by Eric the Audible.
  • Much like Yuri, Natsuki was voiced by Evava in Monika vs. Harley Quinn, then she was voiced by JesseBoxVO in her battle against Raven.
• Promoted Fanboy: Carrick 'RaccoonBroVA' Inabnett has done reactions to and Cover versions of many of FK's battles in the past. Then in 2023, he got to guest star as the voice of DB Cooper.
• Real-Life Relative: Andrew Rea of Binging with Babish was physically portrayed by Dustin's dad.
• Role Reprise: Snakebite126, who voiced Denji, reprised the role in a different rap battle for Eddie's Rap Channel: "Denji vs Wolverine".
• Spoiled by the Cast List:
  • An interesting example can occur with YouTube vs. Twitch. If you know Dustin's voice well, you can recognize him singing as YouTube, while the title of the video has two other voice actors credited. Sure enough, one of them voices Twitch, while the other voices TikTok.
  • The Youtube upload for Nathan Drake vs Tintin lists three featured rappers in the title. Predictably, a third party enters the battle later.
• Two Voices, One Character:
  • Inosuke's voice was done by Cam Steady, but according to a comment on this video from Freeced themself, they did the snorts at the beginning of Inosuke's first verse.
  • Siren Head's different voices were provided by Zander Kanack, Snakebite126 and Alex M. (who also provided Corpse's voice in the same battle, as Siren Head used its ability to channel voice against Corpse).
  • Frankenstein's Monster is voiced by Freshy Kanal and Fightmarker.
• Unfinished Episode:
  • Early in the series, audios for battles are released on Soundcloud first, but some ("Slender Man vs. Jack the Ripper", "Ferris Bueller vs. Nagisa Shiota", "Gru vs. Bowser") are no longer planned to be turned into a full video.
  • Dustin also has released several demos of scrapped battles on his Patreon.
• What Could Have Been:
  • Spy vs Robbie Rotten was originally meant to be an official battle (not a bonus) and a blend of SFM animation and Live Action, but had to be changed during production. The only remnant of this version of the battle is a few blurry clips from a 'help wanted' announcement from January 2021.
  • A similar thing happened with Sonic vs Flash, it was originally going to be 3D animated, as seen in the end credits preview of Mr Bean vs Charlie Chaplin.
  • Lew Kreerdun shared some concept art of the original design for King Tut in Frodo vs Egyptians., which had a slightly more complex design with bandages covering the body.
  • Similarly, concept art for Hulk vs Frankenstein was shared by CyanCoat, showcasing some scrapped designs for Banner and the Hulk. Funnily enough, A cartoonier version of the Banner design shows up briefly in the final video, during the line "By adding some Gamma to this Beta".
• Word of God: There's a four video playlist on Freshy's channel for old "joke" battles that are considered non-canon to the main series.
