Trivia / Care Bears Movie II: A New Generation

• Creator Couple: Guitarist Dean Parks and his then-wife Carol wrote the film's songs.
• Dueling Dubs: There's two Mexican Spanish dubs: One done in the 80s and another, newer one done in the 90s. Curiously enough, some voice actors from the 80s dub worked in the 90s one, though with different roles.
• You Sound Familiar:
  • The Great Wishing Star is voiced by Chris Wiggins. If that name sounds familiar, Wiggins also voiced No Heart in the TV series, which gives him an odd distinction of voicing a Big Good and a Big Bad in the same franchise.
  • In the second Mexican Spanish dub, the Great Wishing Star and Noble Heart Horse are voiced by Jorge Roig Sr. and Jesús Barrero respectively, both previously voiced Brave Heart Lion and Nicholas in the previous film. Likewise, Diana Santos, who voiced John in the first dubbed version, now voices Christy in the second.
