• Acting for Two: Emi Lo voices both Miri as well as Kazuki’s late wife Yuzuko in the English dub.
• Anime First: An original anime series, like many of P. A. Works' other productions.
• Follow the Leader: The series debuted in January 2023 and is about a makeshift family where the parents have dark, violent jobs. It's very apparently following in the footsteps of Spy X Family, even if there are some differences to the status quo. According to the directors of the anime, the main inspiration came from Full House and their experience with children.
• Irony as She Is Cast: Miri's teacher Anna Hanyu is depicted as being a Dreadful Musician who's hilariously tone-deaf in the show, whereas her voice actress Haruka Terui is an accomplished singer.
• Write What You Know: According to Mitsuhito Tsuji and Toba Yosuke, producers of the anime, they were inspired by some of the staff members who are parents themselves with young children.
