• Development on the series began in 2010, while Love Is in the Bag was still ongoing.
• Developed alongside the eventual third series, to be released once Angel Crush is concluded.
  As of 2015, that "third" series has been delayed in favor of another series, My Celestial Family.
• All Girls Want Bad Boys: The writer wanted to test this trope in this series. Daniel is clearly not a likeable fellow (and is written accordingly) but fan reaction indicates that there is plenty of truth in the trope.
• Portmanteau Couple Name: There are several in the series, depending on the shippers.
  • GaRion: Gale and Marion.
  • FaPid: Faye and Cupid, alternatively called FaNiel.
  • FaLe: Faye and Gale.
  • GaNiel: Gale and Daniel, shipped by several BL fans.
  • MicPid: Michael and Cupid, shipped by several BL fans.
  • FaRion: Faye and Marion, shipped by several yuri fans.
• Working Title: The working title eventually became the official title of the series.
  • In keeping with Love is in the Bag being part of The Kate Project, this series is known in the studio as The Faye Project.
• One of the flashback images shown in Volume 5's grocery sequence is lifted from a scene in Love Is in the Bag Volume 1, where Kate and Calvin are shopping and another couple is seen in the background. In Angel Crush Volume 5, the flashback focuses on Faye and Rafa, while Kate and Calvin are now in the background. These two scenes were illustrated nine years apart (2007 and 2015). The 2007 scene was meant as an Easter Egg to tease the next series. It took 5 volumes for the plot to finally get to that specific point in the story where Faye reminisces about her past.
