• Cowboy BeBop at His Computer: Wikipedia once claimed that Amelia was based on a Cameroonian maid. In fact, this was added to Wikipedia as a joke, but the edit was left there for five years. During that time, this "fact" made its way into blogs, news reports, a book, and This Very Wiki.
• Outlived Its Creator: Peggy Parish's death didn't mark the end of the series, with her nephew Herman Parish taking over writing the series.
• Referenced by...: Sam O'nella University states that he hates the character, and wants to introduce her to the concept of "irony" by shoving her face into a waffle iron. And throw her out of an airplane without a parachute.
