"Amelia Bedelia Dances Off" isn't generally sad, but there is the part where the dance teacher, Dana, breaks her leg, in two places.
At the beginning of "Amelia Bedelia Makes a Splash", Amelia is disappointed because she has to go to summer camp and miss out on her plans (to ride bikes with her friends). She is crying hysterically, and is also tired because she hadn't gotten enough sleep. Thankfully, things lighten up after she wakes from her nap.
