- In terms of politics, Ancom is depicted in the most positive light. While quee is certainly a crazed and violent maniac, quer positions are less morally objectionable than those of the other extremists. Compared to their desires for things like unchecked corporate exploitation, brutal class warfare, and even outright ethnic cleansing, Ancom wanting a society with horizontal leadership and no hierarchies is positively benign — even if quee does have some out-there ideas, like wanting to give children LSD.
- But in terms of personality, Ancap is this. He's the most polite and least violent of all the extremists, flat-out refuses to kill his moderate counterpart despite Anti-Centrist's orders, and displays considerable angst over whether he's a good person, unlike his compatriots who either take their presumed righteousness for granted or just don't care.

His fellow members of the council advocate for such undesirable things as the restoration of serfdom, the violent establishment of an ethnostate, an end to the use of all post-Stone Age technology, and even bringing about global communism through bio-terrorism and nuclear war. Meanwhile, he just wants to merge with technology so he can finally get "that robot dick".
- Among the magnates of Ancapistan, Minarchist is depicted in the least negative light by far, and is used to highlight the more positive elements of his society. He talks about treating his trade partners like brothers and seems to genuinely mean it, and is visibly quite uncomfortable when he sees some poor people being forcibly shooed away.
- Anarcho-Pacifist is depicted as the least violent and most even-tempered of the Anarchists, and expresses a desire for the abolition of the state through nonviolent means.

- Looming Gaia: Monarch Roz Yerim-Mor is Looming Gaia's only decent current world leader. While he has his flaws, he tries his hardest to rebuild his impoverished kingdom and goes teaching magic to the poor in disguise to help them against Disgrace's forces. Given the rest of the High Rulers consist of racists, cheaters, slavers, abusers, genocidal warlords (and one former genocidal warlord who does nothing to atone for her past and tries to sweep her crimes under the rug), religious zealots, rulers who benefit from their people's suffering, a massive ableist who keeps his mentally disabled daughter locked up, a stupid and irresponsible teenager, a guy who got his wife sent to mental hospital for calling him out for cheating on her, and one who straight up has random people kidnapped and tortured to power her secret space program, it's easy to call him a saint.

He's also the only dragon shown to not have a superiority complex.
