Pre-series
- 230 million years ago: The planet Nemesis has it's closest approach to Earth before the 20th century. (Ep. 1)
- 170 million years ago: In this era, humans live alongside the dinosaurs.
- The Yamato Tribe, the leaders of the five tribes who lived with the dinosaurs, adopt the younger of the Black Knight's two sons; the Black Knight rebelled against his clan, only to be killed by the king. The younger remained to be raised as a prince while the Black Knight's elder son, Burai, was sent to live among the fairy folk. (Ep. 18)
- Twenty years after the Yamato Tribe incident, the five tribes were nearly wiped out by the forces of Witch Bandora, the former queen of the Dahl Tribe who had sold her soul to Great Satan after the loss of her son Kai; Yamato Prince Geki notably lost his adopted father, mother and ten-year old sister in the battle; as well as Sharma Tribe Knight Goushi losing his older sister protecting him; prior to the Guardian Beasts intervention. After Bandora is finally sealed away and left on the planet Nemesis cursing that she will return, five surviving members (Geki/TyrannoRanger, Goushi/=[Mammoth Ranger=], Dan/TriceraRanger, Boi/TigerRanger and Mei/PteraRanger) were placed in suspended animation until Bandora's return. Burai, with his own intention, had Gnome cast a spell on him to place him in deep sleep in a cave in the Sleeping Forest on June 19th after the Zyuranger's own sleep began to reawaken on that very day after they have; but a cave-in that occurred while in his suspended state took his life; at the request of dinosaur god Daizyuzin, Spirit of Life Clotho grants the still-sleeping Burai the power to revive and life for the length of time needed to complete his duty. After the legendary heroes were sealed, the five tribes sent two dinosaur eggs out to sea in order to preserve the race in case of potential extinction. (Ep. 2, 9, 15, 17, 31, 48)
- 30,000 years ago: The Flowers of Peace first grow on the Espoam Mountain. (Ep. 24)
- 20,000 years ago: The Tortoise comes into existence, using its power to torment the populace to stop and go at will while using it's power to hide the Espoam Mountains with the Flowers of Peace. (Ep. 24)
- 2000 years ago: The witch Circe torments Greece, forcing a king and his son to mistrust each other over food and bring their kingdom to ruin until the Olympian God Hermes brought down the moly herb to defeat her. (Ep. 8)
- 1982: Shinsuke's father quits his job to start a ramen shop to care for himself and his son after the death of his wife. (Ep. 28)
- 1989: Shigeru's parents are killed in an accident, making him become cowardly and weak. (Ep. 15)
Series
- In an expedition to planet Nemesis, two astronauts accidentally release Bandora and her minions. Bandora returns to Earth to get her revenge on humanity. The Mysterious Sage Barza, who watched over the sleeping warriors, reawakanes them and gives the the power to become the Zyurangers. The Zyurangers defeat Dora Titan. (Ep. 1 & 2)
- The Zyurangers defeat Dora Skeleton. The Tyrannosaurus guardian beast appears to help Tyranno Ranger. (Ep. 2)
- The Zyurangers obtain the legendary weapons after their original weapons are destroyed and defeat Dora Minotaur. (Ep. 3 & 4)
- The Zyurangers obtain the other four guardian beasts and combine them into the beast god Daizyuzin. The Zyurangers defeat Dora Sphinx. (Ep. 5 & 6)
- The Zyurangers defeat Dora Goblin. (Ep. 7)
- The Zyurangers defeat Dora Circe. (Ep. 8)
- The Apello Tribe, an ancient people abandoned on Earth by the Gods, tries to assist the Zyuranger in regaining the dinosaur eggs which had come to their care. The Zyurangers defeat Dora Cockatrice. (Ep. 9)
- The Dinosaur Eggs ultimately wash out to sea after a series of events. Regardless, the Apello Tribe is welcomed back to Heaven by the Gods for completing their duty. The Zyurangers defeat Dora Cockatrice II. (Ep. 10)
- The Zyurangers defeat Dora Gin. (Ep. 11)
- The Zyurangers defeat Dora Argus. (Ep. 12)
- The Zyurangers defeat Dora Ladon. (Ep. 13)
- The Zyurangers defeat Fairy Dondon (Ep. 14)
- The Zyurangers defeat Dora Knight. (Ep. 15)
- The Zyurangers defeat Dora Endos. (Ep. 16)
- The fairy boy Ryota reawakanes Burai, who declares revenge on his brother Geki and on the other Zyurangers and becomes DragonRanger. (Ep. 17)
- Burai allies with Bandora, who gives him the sword Hellfriede. (Ep. 18)
- Lami, a minion of Bandora and the wife of Griffozer, returns to assist Bandora and her minions. (Ep. 19)
- Bandora causes a solar eclipse in order to drain Daizyuzin of its power and sends Griffozer, Lami and Burai to defeat it. (Ep. 20)
- Bandora sends Burai to the moon after he attempts to take her down. Clotho, the spirit of life, takes him to a chamber beyond space and time, where he discovers he only has 30 hours to live as long as he's outside of the chamber. Clotho gives him the Zyusouken, which he can use to summon the guardian beast Dragon Caesar. (Ep. 21)
- Burai and Geki duel while Daizyuzin battles Dragon Caesar. After Geki wins, Burai has a change of heart and decides to ally with the Zyurangers. (Ep. 22)
- The Zyurangers defeat Dora Pixie. (Ep. 23)
- The Zyurangers defeat Dora Tortoise. (Ep. 24)
- The Zyurangers defeat Dora Tarantula. (Ep. 25)
- The Zyurangers defeat Dora Boogaranan. (Ep. 26)
- The Zyurangers defeat Dora Guzzler. (Ep. 27)
- Bandora discovers Dokita Clay and uses it to create more powerful Golems and Dora Franke. Geki and Burai encounter the seventh guardian beast, King Brachion, and recieve the thunder slingers so they can fight the Dokita Golems, but Dora Franke evolves into Zombie Franke. (Ep. 28-29)
- Bandora summons her master, Great Satan, who evolves Zombie Franke into Satan Franke (Ep. 30)
- The Zyurangers combine the seven guardian beasts into Ultimate Daizyuzin and defeat Satan Franke. The main five also learn the truth about Burai. (Ep. 31)
- The Zyurangers defeat Dora Narcissus. (Ep. 32)
- The Zyurangers defeat Dora Reiger. (Ep. 33)
- The Zyurangers defeat the Magic Spinning Wheel (Ep. 34)
- The Zyurangers defeat Dora Ninja. (Ep. 35)
- The Zyurangers defeat Dora Gunrock. (Ep. 36)
- The Zyurangers retrive the Dinosaur Eggs and store them inside King Brachion. The Zyurangers defeat Dora Kinkaku. (Ep. 37)
- The Zyurangers defeat Dora Silkis. (Ep. 38)
- The Zyurangers defeat Goda. (Ep. 39)
- Bandora destroys the timeless chamber, leaving Burai unable to delay his pending death any further. After the Zyurangers defeat Dora Gansaku, Burai passes his Zyusouken and his dragon shield to Geki before he dies. (Ep. 40-42)
- The Zyurangers defeat Dora Antaeus. (Ep. 43)
- The Zyurangers defeat Dora Chimera. (Ep. 44)
- The Zyurangers defeat Dora Unicorn. (Ep. 45)
- The Zyurangers defeat Dora Mirage. (Ep. 46)
- Great Satan returns to earth and revives Bandora's son, Kai. Bandora creates a mecha for her son, Dora Talos. The Zyurangers defeat Dora Talos, but lose King Brachion and the Dinosaur Eggs. (Ep. 47)
- Great Satan upgrades Dora Talos, and together they send the Zyurangers into a dimension of darkness (Ep. 48)
- The Zyurangers, with the help of Burai's spirit, rescue the guardian beasts and escape the dark dimension (Ep. 49)
- The Zyurangers destroy Great Satan and Dora Talos. Kai dies in Bandora's arms from his injuries after the destruction of Dora Talos. Bandora cries and loses her magical powers as a result. The Zyurangers seal Bandora and her minions in an urn and send her to space, where her hatred to child softens once she sees Griffozer and Lamia's newbord, Griffozer Jr. The Zyurangers and Barza, having fulfilled their duties, entrust the newly-hatched baby dinosaurs to children and ascend into the heavens. (Ep. 50)
Post-series
- 1994: The 5 Super Sentainote defeat an invasion of Earth by the Emperor Daidas and his forces. (Super Sentai World)
- 2001: As one of the first 24 Super Sentai, the Zyurangers provide their support in the Gaorangers fight against Lost Highness Duke Rakushaasa. (Gaoranger vs. Super Sentai)
- 2006: As one of the first 30 Super Sentai, Tyranno Ranger's Red Warrior spirit is inherited by AkaRed. (Boukenger vs. Super Sentai)
- 2011: The Zyurangers, among the first 34 Super Sentai, oppose an invasion of Earth by the Space Empire Zangyack in what becomes known the Legend War, ending with all Super Sentai sacrificing their power to destroy the invasion fleet. Dispersed throughout the universe, the powers ultimately resurface as Ranger Keys whilst the former Super Sentai disband. (Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger ep. 1, 199 Hero Great Battle)
- 2012: A month following the defeat of the second Zangyack invasion, the powers of the 34 Super Sentai are returned to them by the Gokaigers. (Gokaiger ep. 51)
- 2012: The Zyurangers, among the first 34 Super Sentai, are apparently defeated by Tsukasa Kadoya (Kamen Rider Decade), Great Leader of Dai-Shocker which seeks to wipe out the Super Sentai, opposing Dai-Zangyack led by Emperor (formerly Captain) Marvelous (Gokai Red) who are hunting the Kamen Riders. Infact, all the presumed deceased Sentai and Riders had been transported to the dimensional rift, from which they emerge to defeat the new Shocker-Zangyack Alliance. (Super Hero Taisen)
- 2013: The Zyurangers fight with the Abarangers, Kyoryugers and Go-Busters to defeat the Space War God Voldos. (Kyoryuger vs. Go-Busters)
- 2017: The Zyurangers, among the first 38 Super Sentai, provide their power for the Ninningers and Zyuohgers to defeat Gillmarda. (Zyuohger vs. Ninninger)
- 2021: The Zyurangers, among the first 44 Super Sentai, are embroiled in the Zenkaigers' conflict with the Kikaitopia Jetsty Tojitendo. (Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger)
