Pre-series

• 1980: Kenta Date/Mega Red, Kouichirou Endou/Mega Black, Shun Namiki/Mega Blue, Chisato Jougasaki/Mega Yellow and Miku Imamura/Mega Pink are born.
• 1995: Kenta, Kouichirou, Shun, Chisato and Miku enroll and begin studies at Moroboshi High School.
• Some time before the series:
  • Doctor Samejima, an INET professor and a co-worker of Doctor Kubota, creates five prototype suits for use to fight against invaders. His daughter dies when she tests one of the suits.
  • Grieving the death of his daughter resulted from his failed experiment, Doctor Samejima discovers the existence of a twisted dimension. Despite the pleads of Doctor Kubota, Samejima travels to the dimension and becomes Doctor Hinelar.

Series1997

• Kenta Date, a master of the "Denji Sentai Megaranger" video game, is invited to the facilities of I.N.E.T. for possible usage in their projects. When the forces of Neziregia begin an invasion before completed preparations, Professor Eikichi Kubota is forced to give Kenta and the four members of the Digital Research Club of Moroboshi High the Digitizers to become actual Megarangers and fight back. • The Megarangers defeat Stingray Nezire, acquire Galaxy Mega, and destroy the Nezi Crusher. (Ep. 2)
• The Megarangers defeat Rhino Nezire, while also meeting Dr. Hinelar and Bibidebi for the first time. (Ep. 3)

• As the Megaship was badly damaged during the Mad Guirail battle, Professor Kubota moves command to the I.N.E.T. Moonbase. Meanwhile Yugande is upgraded once again, his damaged body repaired with cybernetic implants, and is also given a more powerful sword. The Megarangers defeat Lion Nezilar. (Ep. 33)
• The Megarangers defeat Porcupine Nezilar. (Ep. 34)
• Yuusaku fixes and upgrades the Mega Silver prototype, allowing for it's usage beyond 2.5 minutes. The Megarangers defeat Mantis Nezilar. (Ep. 35)
• The Megarangers defeat Condor Nezilar, with Yuusaku/Mega Silver becoming a full-time member along with his new mecha, Mega Winger. (Ep. 36)
• The Megarangers defeat Canary Nezilar. (Ep. 37)
• The Megarangers face off against the Nezirangers for the first time. (Ep. 38)
• The Megarangers defeat Lizard Nezilar. (Ep. 39)
• The Megarangers fight with the Carrangers to defeat Crab Nezilar and Helmedor. (Megaranger vs. Carranger)
• The Megarangers defeat Nezi Pink. (Ep. 40)
• The Megarangers defeat Nezi Blue. (Ep. 41)
• The Megarangers lose Mega Voyager to the three remaining Nezirangers. (Ep. 42)
• The Megarangers recover their mecha and defeat the three remaining Nezirangers. Javious is destroyed from the Nezirangers absorbing all of his power prior to the Megarangers destroying them, in a move made by Doctor Hinelar in order to usurp him as the new leader of Nezirejia. (Ep. 43)
• Christmas Special (Ep. 44)
• The Megarangers defeat Thorn-Needle Nezilar, as Dr. Hinelar establishes Hinelar City on Earth after having managed to cross over from the Nezirejia dimension to the real one. (Ep. 45)
• The Megarangers defeat Illusion Nezilar. (Ep. 46)
• The Megarangers defeat Transport Nezilar. (Ep. 47)
• The Megarangers face off against the resurrected Nezirangers, but convert them into data cards and destroy them for good. Hinelar City is also destroyed, but Doctor Hinelar discovers the true identites of the Megarangers. (Ep. 48)
• The Megarangers defeat Hell Nezilar, but are ostracized by society due to having their identities as Megarangers revealed. (Ep. 49)
• The Megarangers kill Yugande permanently, but not before Yugande does tremendous damage to the Megaranger arsenal. Shibolena is also killed. (Ep. 50)
• The Megarangers defeat the Nezirejia once and for all by defeating Dr. Hinelar, whose body is transformed from the time he stayed at the Nezirejia dimension and he dies in a final suicide attack. The Megarangers are accepted back by society, and graduate high school. (Ep. 51)
• During the destruction of the Grand Neziros, Bibidebi releases Hizumina, another creation of Doctor Hinelar that looks like Shibolena, in order to protect her. (Gingaman vs. Megaranger)

Post-series

• 1997: The Megarangers fight alongside the Gingamen to defeat Hizumina and Captain Gregory. (Gingaman vs. Megaranger)
• 2001: As one of the first 24 Super Sentai, the Megarangers provide their support in the Gaorangers fight against Lost Highness Duke Rakushaasa. (Gaoranger vs. Super Sentai)
• 2006: As one of the first 30 Super Sentai, Mega Red's Red Warrior spirit is inherited by AkaRed. (Boukenger vs. Super Sentai)
• 2011: The Megarangers, among the first 34 Super Sentai, oppose an invasion of Earth by the Space Empire Zangyack in what becomes known the Legend War, ending with all Super Sentai sacrificing their power to destroy the invasion fleet. Dispersed throughout the universe, the powers ultimately resurface as Ranger Keys whilst the former Super Sentai disband. (Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger ep. 1, 199 Hero Great Battle)
  • At some unspecified point before or during 2011, Kenta gets employed at Moroboshi High as a teacher. He is encountered by the Gokaigers in search of his team's Greater Power, which he agrees to give them provided they experience a day of high school life. (Gokaiger ep. 39)
• 2012: A month following the defeat of the second Zangyack invasion, the powers of the 34 Super Sentai are returned to them by the Gokaigers. (Gokaiger ep. 51)
• 2012: The Megarangers, among the first 34 Super Sentai, are apparently defeated by Tsukasa Kadoya (Kamen Rider Decade), Great Leader of Dai-Shocker which seeks to wipe out the Super Sentai, opposing Dai-Zangyack led by Emperor (formerly Captain) Marvelous (Gokai Red) who are hunting the Kamen Riders. Infact, all the presumed deceased Sentai and Riders had been transported to the dimensional rift, from which they emerge to defeat the new Shocker-Zangyack Alliance. (Super Hero Taisen)
• 2017: The Megarangers, among the first 38 Super Sentai, provide their power for the Ninningers and Zyuohgers to defeat Gillmarda. (Zyuohger vs. Ninninger)
• 2019: The Megarangers are embroiled in the Super Sentai Strongest Battle. (Super Sentai Strongest Battle)
• 2021: The Megarangers, among the first 44 Super Sentai, are embroiled in the Zenkaigers' conflict with the Kikaitopia Dynasty Tojitendo. (Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger)
