Tear Jerker: Star Trek: Insurrection
Geordi LaForge discovers that the planet's radiation has regenerated his optic nerves, so he has his eye implants removed. He decides to watch a sunrise naturally for the first time in his life, getting express permission from Picard to do so. There's a lengthy shot of both the sunrise itself and of the tears welling in his eyes from being able to see it.
