Erin & Aaron is a 2023 Nickelodeon Kid Com that revolves around the duo of Erin Park (Ava Ro) and Aaron Williams (Jensen Gering). These two step-siblings are forced to live together under the same roof after their parents, Chuck (David S. Jung) and Sylvia (Larisa Oleynik), tie the knot. Adding to the mix is Aaron's little sister Natasha (Pyper Braun).

Despite their different personalities, with Erin being the headstrong one and Aaron being more sensitive, they each have a love for music which they bond over while trying to harmonize with one another.

Basically, think Drake & Josh meets Austin & Ally.

The series is also noteworthy for marking the return of Larisa Oleynik to Nickelodeon after starring in The Secret World of Alex Mack, which premiered almost 30 years ago from when Erin & Aaron premiered.

In February 2024, Nickelodeon cancelled the series as confirmed by Jensen Gering, likely due to the 2023 WAG and SAG-AFTRA strikes. Erin & Aaron ended with one season of 13 episodes.

The series has the following tropes:

  • And Starring: Larisa Oleynik gets the "And Larisa Oleynik" credit, appropriate for Nickelodeon royalty. David S. Jung gets the "With David S. Jung" billing as well.
  • Annoying Younger Sibling: Natasha is this in spades; she physically attacks anyone who disagrees with her in the first episode while "Somebody's Watching Me" has her scheming her brother and stepsister out of their money.
  • First-Name Basis: Aaron and Natasha always address Chuck by name instead of "Dad", same going with Erin addressing Sylvia by name instead of "Mom".
  • Hypocritical Heartwarming: Natasha defends Erin & Aaron from the cheerleaders in the pilot episode.
  • Idiosyncratic Episode Naming: Every episode is named after a song.
  • Masculine Girl, Feminine Boy: Erin is bold and not afraid to speak her mind while Aaron tends to play his guitar.
  • Odd Couple: Erin is outspoken and snarky, Aaron is sensitive and sweet. This also plays into their instruments and preferred genres; Erin is a rock guitarist and Aaron is a pop pianist.
  • Only Sane Woman: Natasha fits this whenever the family gets super weird.
  • Parental Abandonment: Both Erin and Aaron lost one parent, as mentioned in the pilot.
  • Pint-Sized Powerhouse: Natasha is very strong for her age, she was able to manhandle both Erin and Aaron as well as beat up a group of cheerleaders.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: Erin and Aaron, respectively. She's always outgoing and not afraid to speak her mind, while he is more calm and collected and more well-planned.
  • Savvy Guy, Energetic Girl: Aaron and Erin. It's even lampshaded in the song Keep Singin' It.
    Aaron: I'm about the mood.
    Erin: I'm the attitude.
Both: When you break it down!
  • Significant Name Overlap: Two main characters have the names that invokedsound exactly the same in their accents.note
  • Stalker with a Crush:
    • Hunter is this to Erin, always coming up on her when she doesn't expect it, leaving her uncomfortable.
    • Erin's friend Vivian is this to Aaron, trying to do everything she can to get close to him even when he doesn't.
  • Talent Contest: The pilot sees both Erin and Aaron vying for the same spot in the talent program.
