Why? To see how this overlaps with a proposed trope pertaining with appearance and sexual assault. Specifically, I'm looking to see how many examples for this trope explicitly deal with the topic of sexual harassment & assault, and whether any of those specifically list the character's appearance as being a factor (a beautiful character is victim-blamed due to their beauty, an ugly character is told they'll never get raped, etc.).

• Characters.Graceling Realm (Fire): Her monster beauty means she's the constant target of rape attempts (by those who don't hate her), she has to be guarded 24/7 (especially since monster animals hunger for her blood), and she's never going to get as much sympathy as she needs because even when she's at her lowest, she still looks fine.
• Literature.The Riftwar Cycle: Sandreena. A rare justified example, as she was forced into prostitution as a child because of it. Besides her disgust with the way most men look at her now, her relationships with them have ranged from awkward to miserable ever since, with only a single exception. She also isn't taken seriously as a warrior by some members of her order because of her looks.
• StargateSG1.S To Z: At least one minor character uses this trope almost verbatim, with the justification that Goa'uld always want attractive hosts, so being too pretty is more than just a social problem. Since said character was captured as a girl and trapped as a Goa'uld host for god-only-knows how long until her symbiote was killed, it really was A Fate Worse Than Death.

  • The short "I Am Too Pretty" is about a girl that has dealt with the troubles of being very attractive all her life. As a toddler, an agent tried to make her a fashion model and she was being catcalled before even reaching puberty.

She's been bullied mercilessly by Lauren and her pack of mates for presumably being prettier than her. Even worse, Bethany was unknowingly indoctrinated into an ephebophile sex ring where she was systematically raped by older men. She also became a part-time lap-dancer in an attempt to regain her sexual freedom but she ended up having a PTSD attack after some men on a stag night started getting frisky with her and pressuring her into giving the uncomfortable groom a lapdance.
• Characters.Our Blades Are Sharp: A reviewer from Chapter 10 points out that no matter how good her situation is, with a betrothed who loves her, Sansa will always attract the worst kind of men (i.e. Joffrey).
• Characters.The Legendary Moonlight Sculptor Weed And His Companions (Seoyoon): She is so pretty other adventurers kept pestering her in the game so much she started wearing a mask to ward them off. In a much darker sense, she was so beautiful as a child and was doted on by her father so much, her mother became paranoid and believed they were in an incestuous relationship, leading to abusing Seyoon and finally culminating in her suicide that traumatized Seyoon into her condition at the beginning of the story.
• Manga.Sakura Gari: The readers are constantly reminded in the story of how Souma suffered a messed up childhood due to his gorgeous looks.
• VideoGame.Winter Voices: At one point, the player attracts the attention of a man who tries to molest her.

• Characters.Dragonlance (D'Argent / Silvara / Arlena Plata): She's actually unable of not ending up being a Head-Turning Beauty in every form she takes, no matter the species she's polymorphing in, which she actually finds frustrating since she doesn't want to attract attention. Her form as Arlena Plate was the closest she got to a plain woman, after years of practicing and she's still considered far above average.
• Characters.Fall Of Starfleet Main Story Rebirth Of Friendship (Queen Celestia): Celesto only married her for her looks and is incapable of viewing her (or any women in general) as anything more than objects.
• Characters.Fate Grand Order Foreigners (Yang Guifei): Zigzagged. Her profile notes that on the one hand, her beauty would attract miscreants and evil spirits, causing her to become withdrawn, but on the other, it was also what gave her the opportunity to support herself and her siblings after her parents died and they were left homeless, and she took pride in that.
• Characters.Fresh Off The Boat (Honey Ellis): Her youth and beauty are the cause of a lot of her problems from the neighbourhood wives excluding her to Eddie mistaking her for a stripper.
• Characters.God Of War Series Other Characters (Valkyries): Göndul. She was so beautiful that she was temporally banned from Midgard because her beauty is so alluring and maddening to humans. Even Mimir can't speak properly around her.
• Characters.Granblue Fantasy Erune: Anthuria's beautiful appearance and dancing causes nothing but unwanted attention for her.
• Characters.Granblue Fantasy Other (Lucio): People have frequently fought over his good looks. He frequently comments on this as well, even asking his creator why they made him so beautiful. By "The Maydays", it seems as though he embraced his good looks and uses them to his advantage.
• Characters.IDO Li SH 7 (Yuki): Back in high school which, combined with his bad attitude back then, got him in some trouble much to Banri's dismay.
• Characters.Inda Marlovans (Joret Dei): She's drop-dead gorgeous, even as a child, and finds herself uncomfortable with the amount of attention she gets. When the Sierlaef falls head over heels for her it just gets worse.
• Characters.Komi Cant Communicate Main Characters (Komi): Komi is a profoundly beautiful girl who is rarely approached by her admirers because they either don't consider themselves worthy, or they lack the courage to do so. It doesn't help that Komi has a bit of a poker-face whenever someone talks to her, even when she's frozen nervous, making people think that their proximity and attempts at conversation make her uncomfortable.
• Characters.SCP Foundation SC Ps (SCP-105, Iris Thompson): Head-Turning Beauty: She's often the subject of many personnel and humanoid SCPs' affections in various tales. For better or worse.

Played straight in her Paladin's class story. Snow White's beauty mesmerized everyone in her country and beyond it. Faced with the threat of a giant blood bath caused by her daughter, the Queen decided to go through with her plan to get rid of Snow White.
• Characters.The Eminence In Shadow (Akane Nishino): A lot of men would nothing more than to have Akane to themselves much to latter's disgust.
• Characters.The Good Place Neighborhood (Tahani): Played for laughs. Tahani mourns not being able to wear haute couture because of her large cup size, and her pores are so miniscule that that leave-on face masks don't stick to her skin.

Masato and Miku are both the most doormatty of Extreme Doormats ( unless Masato is under the effects of Masaki's Grand Theft Me), Taiha feels guilty about not caring for his lover the same extent she does to him, twins Shi-Aen and Shi-Tau have horrible teamwork due to Shi-Aen's detached nature and Shi-Tau's jealousy, Ritsu has an inferiority complex due to bishie good looks making everyone think he's a woman, Giso was hopelessly a Romantic Runner-Up, Rokfel couldn't see Giso's dependability and loved the jerkass Saiga, and Saiga is the only person in the series that's worse than Masato is when he goes psycho.

• Recap.Grimm S 4 E 16 Heartbreaker: Life as a Folterseele. They're attractive Living Aphrodisiacs whose skin turns into deadly poison in the presence of anyone attracted to them.
• Recap.Psych S 04 E 06 Bollywood Homicide: Implied with Rajesh, who's very handsome whose future sister-in-law is in love with him and has been scaring off all his girlfriends. Shawn and Gus get jealous of him after meeting his four Amicable Exes, who all seem to still be in love with him.

  Luxe: In One, pregnant women hope for birth defects. They whisper in the dark, wishing for their children to be born ugly so that they won't be taken away. Some of them drink and smoke, hoping that will damage the unborn just enough for it to escape the analysis in eight years. For some it works. For others, it doesn't.
• VideoGame.Visions And Voices: Lyla. She's always the one getting stared at and complimented by the other characters, and she hates it. She doesn't whine about it, however; instead, she goes for hostility to anyone pointing it out or making a pass at her.
• VisualNovel.Nameless: All of the boys to some degree. Their looks attract so many fangirls that it becomes a daily annoyance and later a real threat to Eri, their genuine love interest.
