Moonpath to Elsweyr
Moonpath to Elsweyr is a Game Mod for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The Last Dragonborn meets a Khajiit caravan on the road near Falkreath, and decides to go with them to the distant homeland of the Khajiit, Elsweyr.
Tropes:
- Dead Man's Switch: In the off chance that he is killed, Malsato the Hungry would release the Thrassian Plague on Elsweyr, and probably the rest of Tamriel. It's up to the player to kill the source of the plague, an infected animal.
- Horse of a Different Color: The Therium, tall rhinoceros-like animals that Khajiit use as mounts.

Those Who Walk Away
Those Who Walk Away is a 2022 Horror Movie written and directed by Robert Rippburger, starring Booboo Stewart. Shot in one continuous take, it follows Max, a young man who goes on a date with Avery, a woman he met on a dating app. What starts as a normal, if awkward, date, goes very wrong as the night goes on.
Tropes:
- Abusive Parents: Among other things, Avery and Phillip's father molested Phillip.
- Ambiguous Situation: What, or who, exactly, is Rotcreep? Is he the ghost of Avery and Phillip's father? An Anthropomorphic Personification of rape? Some kind of demon?
- …And That Little Girl Was Me: Turns out, the haunted house that Avery took Max to was actually her and her brother's childhood home.
- And This Is for...: When Max locks Avery and Phillip in the house before he burns it, he says "This is for Rudy".
- Literary Allusion Title: to The Ones Who Walk Away from Omelas. The famous choice in that story is referenced frequently throughout the movie.
- More Teeth than the Osmond Family: Rotcreep has a massive, toothy grin.
- The Oner: shot in one long take, or at least, edited to look like it.
- Shout-Out: to Twin Peaks: the living room in the haunted house looks a lot like the Black Lodge.
- Surreal Horror: Once Max is left in Rotcreep's house, things go off the rails quickly.
shamona
Shamona is a worldbuilding project by Dante Dyavol. The goal is to create a unique world that takes inspiration from sci-fi and fantasy. It can be found at https://theworldofshamona.wordpress.com/
- Clown Species: Well, more like Clown Religion.
- Humans Are Average: Played With. "Human" in Shamona refers to any sentient species, from mechanical dwarves to nomadic clowns. "Men" are what we would refer to as humans, though they have their quirks like every other species. So, while "Humans" may be average, "Men" are not.
- Human Subspecies: Men are one of the more widespread peoples in Shamona, due to their adaptability. This leads to some variation among the species:
- Clowns are an ethnoreligious group of Men, who travel the lands setting up carnivals that are used both as religious rites and a source of income.
- Clowns are also occasionally born with traits that represent one of their three gods, creating mimoj, bestoj, and amikoj.
- The main difference between Hivers and Men is their reproductive habits. Only the female Hivers are sentient and humanoid, the males and queens are non-sentient, and basically just breed and die.
- The Janki, though they look like Men, are actually not related at all, because they were teleported from our world, specifically the American Frontier.
- Clowns are an ethnoreligious group of Men, who travel the lands setting up carnivals that are used both as religious rites and a source of income.
- Monster Organ Trafficking: 'Teratoculture', or the raising of monsters for food and resources, is a common practice. It ranges from using the unique ecosystem of dungeons to cultivate rare plants and fungi, to using formerly human warbeasts as sources of armor, to using bog hulks as mobile farmland.
- Our Goblins Are Different: Goblings are a heterogeneous race, formerly making up the majority of the Fallen Lord's army. Now that the Fallen Lord is no more, Goblings have settled down and developed their own culture.
- Our Dwarves Are All the Same: Averted. Dwarves consist of a core containing their consciousness, that can insert itself into a variety of chassis, the most common one being a spherical body with stiff arms and legs.
- Our Gods Are Different: Gods are very similar to the occult idea of the 'egregore', which is, essentially, the will of a group of people given physical form. This means that, contrary to most depictions of gods, they serve their worshipers, rather than the other way around. Non-religious groups can also create deities spontaneously.
- One exception to this rule is the clowns, which have been unable to manifest any gods, because their creator gods died in the process of creating the universe.
