  • The Dark Knight: The Joker once again tells Batman "You complete me" when explaining that he doesn't want to kill him.
  • In Dog Days (2018), Garret quotes "Show me the money" to Tara, but doesn't remember what movie it's from until she tells him.
  • In Miss Sloane, when Sloane quits her job to join a rival lobbying firm and asks other members to join her, Connors scoffs, "What is this, Jerry Maguire?"
  • A Missing Trailer Scene from Monkeybone has a man shouting "Show me the monkey!"

  • Veronica Mars has a third season episode called "Show Me the Monkey".

Western Animation

  • In an early episode of Bojack Horseman, Bojack gives Princess Carolyn a cardboard cutout of himself that spouts quotes from Jerry Maguire, which he says is her favorite movie. Throughout the episode, it continues to go off, often saying things quite appropriate to the current situation.
  • Danny Phantom: Dash Baxter watches TV and accidentally destroys it, after that he complains "right at the part where he says you complete me" in Doctor's Disorders.
  • Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends: In the episode "Bloo's Brothers", Mac is faced with two Bloos (It Makes Sense in Context) and must Spot the Imposter. One of them gives a heartfelt speech that includes the line "You complete me." Mac immediately figures out that this is not his Bloo, because the real Bloo would never say anything that sappy.
  • In the Rick and Morty episode "Close Rick-counters of the Rick Kind" a Rick salesman shows an action figure Morty doll that says "Show me the Morty!" when you press its button.

Real Life

  • The people behind Everything Is Terrible! have collected over 15,000 Jerry Maguire VHS tapes from fans, and as of this writing are hoping to roll out a permanent display of all of them - the Jerry Pyramid.
