An asteroid is heading straight for Earth, and Area 49-B contacts the Akiridions for help.

- Batman Gambit: As it turns out, Morando and Kubritz were in on the whole asteroid thing in order to distract the heroes from the former's arrival.
- Everyone Has Standards: Costas is shocked when Kubritz goes against her word at the end.
- Groin Attack: One of Kubritz's subordinates is on the receiving end of one of these.
- I Lied: Kubritz offers no apologies for going back on her word. Predictably, Krel saw it coming from "a light-kelton" away.

- My Greatest Second Chance: Essentially how Aja appeals to Tronos. In the past, Tronos's home planet of Voltar was in dire need and appealed to Aja's parents to save them only to be refused, resulting in the planet being completely devastated. Aja pleads with Tronos to help her be better than her parents by helping her to save another planet (Earth) that is in dire need.
- Oh, Crap!: Toby and Eli have one when their video camera spotted a spaceship (Morando's ship) in the background while the laser destroyed the asteroid.
- Shout-Out:
- When the asteroid is headed for earth, Kubritz's second in command posits a plan to stop the asteroid by drilling in it detonating a nuke inside it, which is the exact plot of Armageddon (1998). Krel calls it a stupid idea.
- When Steve rides his Vespa through the piece of the wall that had just been blown up by Vex, he holds out his hand and says "Come with me if you want to live." He even lowers his voice and talks slower when he says it.
- Slow Laser: Krel's deep space pulse laser is highly visible and takes a few seconds to travel through Earth's atmosphere and hit the asteroid which was seconds from impact.
- Stock Scream: One of Kubritz's guards lets out a wilhelm scream when he's hit.
- We Need a Distraction: General Morando arranged for the asteroid so that everyone who might notice his ship landing would be otherwise occupied.
