While hanging out at the Plumber Base waiting for the new A.I for the base's computer to install, the Dazzlings accidentally release Viral into the system, and she turns the entire base against everyone as she attempts to escape into the internet.
- All Your Base Are Belong to Us: Viral takes over the Plumber Base's system and turns everything against them, tuning everything inside deadly.
- And I Must Scream: Viral says that while she was imprisoned in the flash drive she was conscious the whole time, unable to see, hear, or feel anything, and couldn't even sleep.
- Awkward Kiss: Discussed briefly when Adagio remembers how she kissed Flash before he went to fight Tirek. Since it was their first proper kiss together it should have been a good memory that made them both happy. But instead after Flash woke up things were awkward between them for awhile. They are better now, but they haven't kissed again since then.
- Big "NO!":
- Several are given throughout the chapter due to Viral turning the base against everyone, and even one by Viral herself during her battle with Upgrade.
- Played for Laughs after everything is resolved, when Adagio and Aria scream this while pulling Sonata away from Pinkie, not wanting the two to hangout together and cause even more trouble.
- Cliffhanger: Though Viral is defeated, a small part of her manages to escape to the internet, and she is taken in by a mysterious individual who offers her a body and a chance for revenge against Flash.
- Cut the Juice: Subverted; once Viral starts infecting the systems, Adagio attempts to stop her by pulling the flash drive out of the computer, expecting Viral to be ripped out with it. But it doesn't do anything because Viral is no longer bound to it.
- Demonic Possession: Viral attempts this on Flash when he battles her as Upgrade. She tries to corrupt his digital body and delete his mind so she can integrate herself into his digital body, which would also give her control of his human body. Flash manages to fight off her infection though.
- Easily Forgiven: The Dazzlings are forgiven by everyone for accidentally releasing Viral and putting everyone through the whole ordeal. Shining Armor says he is tempted to ban them from the base like he did for Timber, but he can see they're all sorry for what happened so he decides to give them another chance.
- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: The Dazzlings find a flash drive on the floor of the base, and due to being bored waiting around for the A.I to upload, decide to plug it in and see what it is. It turns out to be Viral's prison, and they end up releasing her into the base's systems.
- Too Much Alike: Played for Laughs with Pinkie and Sonata. While Sonata promises not to play with anything in the base she doesn't understand again, Pinkie says she plays with the stuff all the time and offers to show her how it all works. Her sisters pull her away from Pinkie though and shout a Big "NO!", clearly not wanting to see what insanity the two Cloudcuckoolanders could do if they played together.
- Unusually Uninteresting Sight: Adagio notes how seeing Flash in action as an alien has just become a normal part of him, instead of the excitement it once gave her when they first started dating.
