Flash, Shining, and Rarity head to space to respond to an SOS from a damaged ship. But they quickly find themselves being hunted by a dangerous alien.
- Bookends: The chapter opens with Flash stopping a recently escaped Dragstar, and ends with the reveal that while Flash, Shining, and Rarity were off-planet someone broke him out of jail again.
- A Day in the Limelight: For Rarity, who ends up going on the mission into space with Flash and Shining Armor. Twilight justifies by saying she's the only one whose powers would be of actual use.
- Dirty Coward: Nemog lies saying that his crew is all dead, wanting to get off the ship as soon as possible, and tries to steal the ship that Flash, Shining, and Rarity used to get there to leave them behind and save himself. He fails, but breaks it in the process, forcing them to fix it while fighting off the Fictusite.
- Drama-Preserving Handicap: Due to fighting in space for the first time, Flash realizes that not a lot of his aliens can survive in the vacuum of space and has limited options on who he can transform into.
- Portal Network: The Plumbers set one up on the moon, allowing the heroes to warp their new ship from underground in the Plumber base to beyond Earth's orbit.
- The Reveal: Flash shows off two more of the aliens his future self unlocked for him; Eatle and Lantool.
- Shout-Out: Nemog is a fish-like alien and has a similar name to the titular character from Finding Nemo.
- Take That!: The Ickthyperambuloids, the species of Walkatrout who is generally seen as one of the weakest and worst of Ben's aliens, aren't shown in a good light. Shining Armor outright says they are probably one of the weakest sapient aliens in the galaxy, only having survived this long due to their difficulty to catch, and they cause the whole problem of the chapter due to attempting to illegally smuggle the Fictusite.
- Whole-Plot Reference: The chapter serves as one to the famous horror film franchise Alien. The main setting is in a disabled ship with a killer alien stalking the heroes and attacking them. The Fictusite serves as an expy of the Xenomorph, and even the title of the chapter is a Shout-Out to the famous tagline of the first film: "In space, no one can hear you scream".
