The Hurt Lockers

A sinkhole opens up at school, causing Lincoln and his classmates to be forced to share lockers.
  • All-Cheering All the Time: Liam ends up sharing lockers with Jenna, who can't stop cheering him in on with her squad much to his annoyance. He ends up caught in the cheerleading too.
  • Boxing Kangaroo: Rusty ends up sharing a locker with Crikey, who immediately knocks him into a wall.
  • Continuity Nod: Andrew is still wearing his cat onesie from "Frame On You", and in fact now acts cat-like.
  • A Dog Ate My Homework: Clyde’s book report ends up in Lincoln’s magic hat, and when Clyde tries to retrieve it, he somehow pulls out Charles who is already chewing on the report.
  • Got Me Doing It: Having Jenna and her cheerleading squad as his locker mates has clearly affected Liam, as he also starts doing cheerleading chants at random.
  • Hammerspace Hair: A Running Gag in the episode involves Meryl using her hair to store items, even large ones that shouldn’t be able to fit in there. Rusty even remarks that she must have a strong neck considering the amount of items she’s carrying.
  • Insecurity System: Zach modifies his and Rusty's locker with a high tech security system, which ends up locking Rusty out and fries his hair when he tries to force the locker open. When he installs it on the group’s shared locker at the end of the episode, the security system malfunctions and blasts a hole in the school’s wall.
  • Plot-Mandated Friendship Failure: The locker sharing leads to quite some friction within Lincoln’s friend group.
  • Stuffed into a Locker: Lynn does this to Zach, her locker partner.
  • This Is Gonna Suck: Lincoln has this reaction when he finds out Chandler is his locker partner.
  • Wedgie: Chandler gave one to his last locker buddy, and it’s still going on after three days.

Love Stinks

When Lana brings home a skunk named Ann to rehabilitate, Lola forms a bond with the animal due to finer tastes.
  • Air-Vent Passageway: Ann hides in the air vents at school after Lola takes her there, forcing Lola and Lana to enter the vents as well. In a Surprisingly Realistic Outcome, the vent is not made to support the weight of all three of them, and they end up falling through the floor.
  • Arboreal Abode: Ann ends up living in one when she’s returned to the park.
  • Beneath Suspicion: Principal Huggins is surprised to learn it was Lola who brought a skunk to school, claiming his money would have been on Lana.
  • Brick Joke: Early in the episode, Lana is called away to Liam’s farm because Liam needs help when one of his pigs is giving birth. At the end of the episode, Liam is seen chasing all the piglets to feed them.
  • Green Around the Gills: Happens to Ann when she witnesses Lana drink a sausage smoothie.
  • My God, You Are Serious!: Lola first laughs off Lana's request that she'd watch Ann, until she realizes Lana means it.
  • Nose Nuggets: Lana tries to nab some from Lola at one point.
  • Retcon: This episode reveals that the twins' second grade teacher is Mr. Sayers, even though "The Banana Split Decision" from The Really Loud House, released prior, shows that they have Miss Daisy as their teacher. However, Mr. Sayers is shown teaching history whereas Miss Daisy mentions the twins struggle with grammar, spelling, and math, whereas Mr. Sayers is shown teaching history.
  • Smelly Skunk: Ann, naturally. It becomes a problem when she hides in the air vents and her smell spreads through the school, and again when she gets scared by the panicking students.
  • Spit Take: Lola spits out her oat milk when Lana asks her to watch Ann.
  • Visible Odor: Ann's smell is visualized as a green smoke.
