The first half of seventeenth episode of the third season of The Fairly OddParents!

When Timmy is forced to take a bath, he wishes to go to the comic book store to pick up the latest Crimson Chin comic book. Cosmo and Wanda poof him there, but accidentally forget to dress him, resulting in him having to get back home naked. Meanwhile, the Crimson Chin has to save Chincinatti from the evil H2Olga, while at the same time babysitting the infant niece of Beverly Boulevard, his co-worker and love interest.


This episode provides examples of:

  • Attack! Attack... Retreat! Retreat!: This line from Timmy:
    Timmy: Cool! I'm at the comic store! (looks down and realizes he's still naked) Not cool! I'm naked at the comic store!
  • Babysitting Episode: In the B-Plot, the Chin has to babysit Beverly Boulevard's infant niece.
  • Berserk Board Barricade: To prevent Timmy from leaving the bathroom, his parents nail planks of wood over the door.
  • Captain Ersatz: As The Crimson Chin is to Superman, Beverly Boulevard is this to Lois Lane, being the hero's co-worker and love interest.
  • Cover Innocent Eyes and Ears: When Timmy is caught naked on one of the Mayor's street corner traffic cameras, the Mayor shouts "Chompy, shield your eyes!" as he covers Chompy's eyes.
  • The Diaper Change: When the Chin has to look after Beverly's Niece, he at one point has to change her diaper. The first time he does it, he puts the new diaper on her head. The second time, he puts the new diaper on his chin. The third time, he successfuly puts it on her bottom.
  • Fate Worse than Death: Timmy worries that if he doesn't get home before his eleven minutes are up, his parents will know he didn't take his bath, and will totally kill him, or worse, make him take another bath.
  • Furniture Blockade: To keep Timmy from leaving the bathroom, after boarding up the door, Timmy's parents place a nightstand, a chair, and a vase with a flower in it in front of the door.
  • Hand-or-Object Underwear: As a result of Timmy having to go through town naked, he has to cover up his lower regions with either his hands, his pink cap, or a newspaper.
  • Hates Baths: Timmy is show to hate baths for this episode. However, when he is poofed out of the tub completely naked in a public place, he finds out there are things much worse than taking a bath.
  • I Do Not Like Green Eggs and Ham: Chester is none too enthusiastic about A.J. dragging him to the Dimmsdale Museum of Science and Natural History to see their new display of the Solar System. Once he sees Timmy hiding behind a hologram of the moon, he changes his attitude.
    Chester: Nice moon. Glad we came.
  • Logical Weakness: As H2Olga is made of water, she is defeated by an ultra-absorbent diaper.
  • Medium Awareness: After Timmy's parents board up the door to keep him from leaving the bathroom, Timmy's Dad says "See you in eleven minutes!", referencing the episode's runtime.
  • Murder Water: H2Olga, a member of the Chin's Rogues Gallery, is a woman made entirely of water who wants to sink the entirety of Chincinnati. When given access to large bodies of water, including ones in the real world (e.g. by dropping a Crimson Chin comic in a full bathtub), she becomes one of the Chin's deadliest threats.
  • Naked People Are Funny: Tmmy's nudity is played for humor in this episode, as it has a recurring gag of comic book nerds mistaking him for comic book superhero Naked Lad, who resembles a muscular version of Timmy wearing nothing aside from a pink cape and his signature pink cap. When Timmy arrives back home in the nick of time, he is relieved that he's now just naked in the privacy of his own house, only to find Cosmo is now naked.
    Cosmo: What? Everybody's doing it!
  • Naked People Trapped Outside: Timmy wishes himself straight from the bath he's taking to the comic book store. His fairies oblige, but neglect to also magic up some clothes for him. As a result of Timmy has to go through town covering up his lower regions with his hands, a newspaper or his pink cap and Timmy promptly gets mistaken for the Kid Hero "Naked Lad" by the people at the comic book store.
  • Nephewism: Beverly Boulevard has an infant niece, whom she has the Chin babysit.
  • Potty Emergency: As Timmy tries to make his way back home in the buff, he hopes his parents don't have to go to the bathroom. Unfortunately for him, his parents decide to have a prune juice-drinking contest after eating chocolate laxative-sprinkled High Fiber-O's. Fortunately, he makes it back to the bathroom in time.
  • Scenery Censor:
    • When Timmy arrives at the comic book store naked, his lower regions are censored by the tail of a cardboard cutout of a Catwoman Expy.
    • On the cover of the Naked Lad comic book, Naked Lad's lower regions are censored by a tree branch.
    • When Timmy decides to take a shortcut to his house through the Dimmsdale Museum of Science and Natural history, his lower regions are censored by a hologram of the Moon.
  • Stealth Pun:
    • Timmy is facing away from his classmates when he hides behind a hologram of the moon as part of the museum's display of the solar system. Chester, who was previously unenthusiastic about going to the museum then says "Nice moon. Glad we came."
    • The Chin manages to defeat H2Olga by absorbing her into the diaper of Beverly's Niece. When H2Olga vows to escape from her absorbent, baby powdery-smelling prison, Beverly's Niece poops. The Chin then says "It just goes to show you, Olga, when you live a life of crime, you'll always be Number Two!"
  • Storefront Television Display: Timmy is near one when he says he hopes nobody sees him. At this time, the Mayor announces his new street corner traffic cameras are finally up and running on the display televisions.
  • Tempting Fate:
    • After Beverly leaves the Chin to look after her infant niece. The Chin says "After all, how much trouble can one baby be?" before Beverly's niece throws up on him and poops her diaper. The Chin then says "Well, now that it's empty, at least things can't get any worse." Cue Beverly's niece crying.
    • As Timmy tries to make his way back home in the buff, he says he hopes nobody sees him. Cue the Mayor announcing his new street corner traffic cameras are finally up and running.
    • Just afterwards, when Timmy makes a mad dash for his house, the says that he should be fine as long as his parents don't have to go to the bathroom for any reason. Cue his parents deciding to have a prune juice-drinking contest after eating chocolate laxative-sprinkled High Fiber-O's.
  • Wounded Gazelle Gambit: H2Olga calls for help to lure the Chin into a trap.
