Go To

Nug opens a bottle, releasing Zordrak's sister Zarag, who was trapped for 500 years as she disagreed with Zordrak. She steals the Dreamstone to wear in her hair for grand occasions. Soon both sides realize she has the Dreamstone and compete to get it back.

Tropes featured in the episode:

  • Big "NO!": Zordrak twice over after the stone leaves his grasp because of Zarag.
  • Big "WHAT?!": Zordrak's response when he learns that Nug is the reason Zarag escaped.
  • Dances and Balls: Both Urpgor and the Dreammaker come up with the idea to throw a ball in Zarag's honor, in the hopes that she will wear the Dreamstone when she attends.
  • Disproportionate Retribution: Zarag disagreed with Zordrak, so he imprisoned her in a bottle for five hundred years.
  • The Meddling Kids Are Useless: Starting the chain for most of Season Two, Rufus and Amberley fail to woo Zarag in their disguise, leading the Dream Maker to make a rare travel to Viltheed incognito, where he handily gets the stone off her.
  • Mundane Utility: Zarag steals the Dreamstone for the sole purpose of having a fancy hairpiece.
  • Sealed Evil in a Can: Zarag was shut up in the bottle until Nug freed her.
  • Sibling Rivalry: Zordrak and Zarag do NOT get on.
  • Totem Pole Trench: Rufus and Amberley disguise themselves this way in order to get Zarag to dance with them so that they can take the Dreamstone from her.
  • Villainesses Want Heroes: Zarag is besotted with the Dreammaker. It's implied that he shares some of her feelings.
  • Villainous Breakdown: After realising the heroes made off with the stone, Zordrak and Zarag go into a simultaneous screaming tantrum.
