Go To

Fast Feud: Ronnie Anne and Sid try to take down the obnoxious burger restaurant that opened up across the street.

Never Friending Story: After picking Par as his new best friend, Bobby realizes he may be in over his head.

"Fast Feud" contains examples of:

  • Arson, Murder, and Jaywalking: Sid's complaint to Burger Blast:
"Your sign is too bright. Your smells are too strong. Your singing is too loud. But, your complaint jar is nice."
  • Circling Birdies: Happens to Bobby when Sergio drops the tarp too soon, causing Bobby, who is on the mercado bike, to lose his focus and crash into some garbage cans.
  • Dodgy Toupee: It is eventually revealed that Jim Sparkletooth wears a toupee when a pigeon steals it.
  • Ear Worm: Ronnie Anne is greatly annoyed by Burger Blast's catchy tip song.
  • Heel Realization: Ronnie Anne and Sid decide to confess to spreading a rumor about pigeon meat at Burger Blast on TV when they realize that their Jim Sparkletooth plan has gone too far.
  • Just a Kid: Ronnie Anne and Sid theorized that no one at Burger Blast heeded their complaints because they're children.
  • Nightmare Sequence: Ronnie Anne has one where a group of living burgers surround her while singing the tip song.
  • No Indoor Voice: One of the singers of the tip song has such a loud voice it causes a strong wind inside the restaurant.
  • Real Men Wear Pink: This episode reveals that Hector sleeps while wearing a facial mask and hair curlers.
  • Shout-Out: The mock ice cream bars that the vendor that Jim Sparkletooth exposed was selling looked very similar to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, complete with varying colored bands like the Turtles' signature colors.
  • Show Within a Show: Jim Sparkletooth's Dirty Secrets.
  • Wounded Gazelle Gambit: One of Carl's attempts to have Burger Blast shut down is by pretending to have slipped in mustard.

"Never Friending Story" contains examples of:

  • Butt-Monkey: Bobby goes through a living hell when he learns that Par is a risk-taker.
  • Continuity Nod: Bobby again explains that he gets nervous when taking tests.
  • A Day in the Limelight: This episode focuses on Bobby's attempts to find a BFF.
  • Deadpan Snarker: When Bobby excitedly cries out that "the day is finally here," Sergio makes fun of his silliness by asking if he's finally potty-trained.
  • Double Standard: Abuse, Female on Male: First, Maybelle beats Bobby up with her purse when she mistakes him for a mugger. Then, she does it again when he explains that he no longer has cashews for sale.
  • Explain, Explain... Oh, Crap!: Ronnie Anne reminds Bobby that he needs to make some friends. Bobby retorts that he has friends: Abuelo, Carl... It is then when he realizes that he doesn't have any friends in the city.
  • False Teeth Tomfoolery: When Hector jokingly suggests "Rosa" as a four-letter word for "boring," Rosa is so offended she throws her Crossword Puzzle at him, causing him to spit out his dentures.
  • Four-Fingered Hands: Bobby lampshades the reduced-toe variant by stating that he needs to count his toes and make sure there are still eight after his incident with the jacuzzi shark.
  • Here We Go Again!: The episode ends with Bobby and Par parachuting into the cheetah pit at the zoo.
  • Long-Distance Relationship: Just like Bobby with Lori, Par's revealed to have a long-distance girlfriend too—he has a girlfriend named Dori who lives all the way out in New York.
  • Noodle Incident: Bobby tries to befriend a high-school classmate named Devon, who bluntly points out that Bobby threw up all over him last week.
  • Screams Like a Little Girl: Bobby does this repeatedly when he and Par participate in risky activities.
  • Sensitive Guy and Manly Man: Bobby and Par, as it turns out. They both have long distance relationships with similarly named girls and use a certain product of hair gel. But Par is fond of risky activities like picnicking with cheetahs, going down waterfalls in a barrel, and skydiving, whereas Bobby is In Touch with His Feminine Side and prefers to play it safe.
  • Shout-Out: This episode's title is a reference to the 1984 film, The Never Ending Story.
  • The Tooth Hurts: One of Bobby and Par's selfies implies that Bobby lost at least one of his teeth in their activities.
