Go To

Original air date: 4/1/2009

The boys are angered when their favorite television show, Terrance and Philip, is preempted by a new program, The Queef Sisters, which is very similar but relies on queef jokes instead of fart jokes.

"Eat, Pray, Queef" contains examples of:

  • April Fools' Plot: Which makes sense, given how this episode aired on April Fools Day.
  • Call-Back: When Cartman is on the phone with Canada he gets angry at being called "buddy", a reference to the "buddy/guy/fwiend" routine from "Canada on Strike".
  • Comical Overreacting: Butters runs away yelling and is later hospitalized after a girl queefs on him.
  • Distaff Counterpart: The Queef Sisters Katie and Katherine are female counterparts to Terrance and Philip; a comedy duo that relies entirely on humor about bodily functions, obviously focusing on queefs instead of farts.
  • Double Standard: Men think farts are funny, but queefs are gross, while women think the opposite. The men's only argument is that queefing is gross because "that's where babies come from".
  • Dude, Not Funny!: Sharon tells her husband and son a story about how a baby farted inside her pregnant friend Abby, and the kicker being that the baby's fart eventually traveled to and came out of Abby's vagina, therefore making it a queef. Randy and Stan found the joke funny until Sharon mentions the air coming out of Abby's vagina.
Sharon: Oh, so when does that stop being funny?
Randy: It stopped being funny the second that air came out her vagina, Sharon!
    • And also, the reaction of the males to "The Road Warrior" queef at the senate. In fact, it's what seals the deal for the ban on queefing.
  • Gasshole: Since this episode is about a gendered conflict over farts and queefs, everyone becomes one in their passive aggressive opposition.
  • Hypocritical Humor: While holding Katherine and Katie Queef at gunpoint, Terrance accuses the Queef sisters of reducing Canada Channel to smut and toilet humor, even though Terrance and Phillip's show contains exactly what Terrance mentioned.
  • May–December Romance: Terrance and Phillip are both pushing 60 and enter into a relationship with the Queef sisters, who are in their early twenties at the very least.
  • Mythology Gag: The Queef Sisters airing instead of the anticipated conclusion to the Terrance and Phillip two-parter as an April Fools joke mirrors that of the season 2 premiere "Terrance and Phillip in Not Without My Anus" airing instead of the conclusion to the first season finale of South Park, "Cartman’s Mom is a Dirty Slut", which also aired on April Fools Day and caused a similar backlash.
  • My God, What Have I Done?: When Sharon is driven to tears after hearing the ban on queefing, both Randy and Stan realize that they screwed up by banning queefing.
  • Pet the Dog: This is one of the few episodes where Stephen Stotch is actually caring towards Butters.
  • "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Sharon gives one to her husband and son after she sees that queefing is banned.
Sharon: You really think women cared that much about queefing? Is that really what you think this has all been about? This has been about women having a little bit of fun for once at your expense. For just this one time we could be the immature ones to make you feel uncomfortable. But no, you just couldn't let us have that one little thing, could you?! Because even though things are getting better for women, you still think of us as lesser people sometimes, and we always have to prove ourselves twice as hard. Congratulations, guys, (in tears) for getting your way... again.
  • Shout-Out:
    • The song "Queef Free" and the accompanying video is based on the music video for the charity song "We Are the World".
    • The "Road Warrior Queef", an extended queef that sounds like a quote from the film.
  • Sidetracked by the Analogy:
Principal Victoria: You know, I'd probably see a boy in my office once a week for farting on a girl.
    (Beat)
Randy: What does that have to do with anything?
  • Strange Minds Think Alike: Both Cartman and Phillip exclaim "What the hell is this disgusting crap?!" after watching The Queef Sisters.
  • Title Drop: Done when the Queef Sisters promote their book "Eat, Pray, Queef".
  • Wrong-Name Outburst: When the Queef Sisters are dating Terrance and Phillip, they both refer to them by their opposite names before switching their dates, despite Terrance and Phillip's initials being written on their shirts to tell them apart.
