The Sailor Senshi are able to defeat Queen Beryl using the holy sword of the moon, shattering her link to Queen Metalia's power and turning her to dust. However, the brainwashed Endymion is still fighting. Stealing the sword for himself, Endymion teleports himself and Sailor Moon to Metalia's base in the North Pole. The Sailor Senshi move in to try and help her, but are stopped by the Four Kings: Jadeite, Nephrite, Zoisite and Kunzite.

- Darkest Hour: The episode ends with Usagi seemingly killing Mamoru and herself with the holy sword.
- Dropped a Bridge on Him: Not even five seconds after regaining their memories of being Endymion's guardians, the Shittenou are quickly offed by an enormous blast of dark energy from Metallia.
- "I Know You're in There Somewhere" Fight: The Senshi try this with the Four Kings and Endymion. The former was a success...for all of 5 seconds.
- Neon Sign Hideout: The secret base of Queen Metalia is located in the only spot in the entire Arctic Circle that blocks Artemis' scanner.
- Say My Name: Upon realizing that the Senshi aren't his mortal enemies (or shouldn't be, anyway), Kunzite whispers "Venus."
- You Have Outlived Your Usefulness / You Have Failed Me: After throwing off their brainwashing for the second time, Queen Metalia no longer sees use for the Four Kings, and kills them in one blow.
