Tropes for this episode include:

  • Anthology: Unlike the other episodes, this episode is comprised of multiple minor stories.
  • Be Careful What You Wish For: Rubi tries enforcing her new modest skirt-size rule onto the teachers. The next day, Nekonome and Kagome show up in schoolgirl uniforms, the only clothes they had that met the requirements.
  • Book Ends: The ending montage reveals that Rubi has taken up ownership of the stray dog Yukari found in an earlier, briefer segment.
  • A Boy and His X: One of the short stories include Yukari finding a stray puppy.
  • Breaking the Fourth Wall: Tonko, Shijimi and Sumae say their names right at the camera and are thankful that they could before the series ended.
  • Comically Missing the Point: Ginei mistakes Tsukune's "success" with women being because of his hairstyle.
  • A Day in the Limelight: The episode draws a greater focus on lesser characters in the series going about their day, including Rubi, Nekonome, Ginei, Kagome, Kokoa and the Trio from "New Term and a Vampire".
  • Freudian Excuse: Rubi tries enforcing a modest skirt-size onto the other students because Tsukune's harem are literally throwing themselves at him and feels inadequate by their open affection.
  • Hypocrite:
    • Kagome shames Nekonome for trying out various sexy schoolgirl outfits... only to then start doing it herself right afterwards.
    • After trying to enforce her new modesty-encouraging skirt-length rule, she accidentally trips, revealing her very racy panties and garters.
  • I Just Want to Have Friends: The episode implies that Rubi wants to be a part of Tsukune's harem. While she is attracted to him, it seems to be more this.
  • Leaning on the Fourth Wall: At the end of the episode, Yukari remarks that she feels like they were forgetting something. Cue Ginei, who was hiding in a bush nearby, who shoves Tsukune onto Outer!Moka, who snags the rosary and summons Inner!Moka. Pissed that she was being summoned for nothing, the episode ends with her kicking Ginei into the air.
  • Not Helping Your Case: When the Newspaper Club try to argue against their skirt-sizes to Ruby, saying that it isn't a distraction, cut to Kurumu and Mizore hiking up their skirts to a shell-shocked Tsukune.
  • Self-Deprecation: The episode makes fun of its over-the-top use of panty shots and Fanservice through Rubi's subplot. When she points out that the girl's short skirts are too short to be considered modest for a high school, they point out that everyone wears that uniform. When Nekonome (a teacher who also wears short skirts) looks for skirts that are up to Rubi's modesty standards, she makes it into a Fashion-Shop Fashion Show using various uniforms in the school store. When Kagome (who hits all the stereotypes of the Hot Teacher) shames her for it, she immediately starts doing it herself, much to Rubi's irritation. When Rubi tries enforcing this new rule on the teachers, Nekonome and Kagome show up the next day wearing schoolgirl uniforms, them being the only outfits they had that met the standards. At the end of the episode, the students are wearing long skirts, only for a breeze to provide a panty shot anyway.
  • Shout-Out: Nekonome's alter ego when she fights Kagome is a clear homage to Catwoman.
