Tropes for this episode include:

  • All Just a Dream: When Kyoko gets knocked out by a washtub during their fight, they all try to pass it off as a crazy dream.
  • All Men Are Perverts: When Kokoa cycles past a train, someone notes her panties, in which all of the men crowd around to one side of the train to see, much to the annoyance of the female passengers and attendant.
  • Call-Back: Kurumu makes mention of the time Tsukune saw her without her panties in the third episode.
  • Coincidental Broadcast: At the beginning of the episode, Tsukune's mother is watching the news where it brings up how Teen Pregnancy rates are escalating. For the rest of the episode, various misunderstandings make her think that Tsukune has become a playboy in his time away.
  • Digging Yourself Deeper: Through the episode, Kasumi's fears that Tsukune is sexually active becomes something of a Running Gag as the girl's antics further paint her son as guilty of such things, especially when their phrasing makes it pretty clear that they have every intention of making that happen.
  • Fantastically Indifferent: Kyoko and Kasumi make no comment of the fact that a washtub just appeared out of nowhere to bonk Kurumu on the head. Averted later when Kyoko sees the girls fighting, noting how they hover in midair, move faster than the eye can see and Yukari performing magic. While at first she thinks they are some special effects, she quickly realizes that something is definitely off about the situation.
  • Foreshadowing: The episode ends with Kyoko pondering to herself about seeing what is going on at Yokai Academy.
  • Here We Go Again!: At the end of the episode, Kokoa shows up at Kasumi's house looking for Moka, though Kasumi's reaction implies that she thinks she is another would-be girlfriend of Tsukune's.
  • Just Friends: When Kasumi is freaking out about the various girls that followed Tsukune home, he tries to assure her that they are "just some friends from school", much to the girls' annoyance.
  • Laser-Guided Karma: The morning after, Kurumu, Mizore and Yukari are sent back to school with their Field Trip privileges revoked after potentially causing a scene in the human world.
  • Running Gag: The episode frequently cuts to Kokoa cycling all the way to Tsukune's house, with observers taking note of being "overtaken by the strawberry [panties]."
  • Where Did We Go Wrong?: Before Kurumu, Mizore, Yukari and Kyoko run out, a hysterical Kasumi rhetorically asks in what way when she raised Tsukune did he turn into a sex fiend.
