Gretchen is in trouble with Miss Finster for a number of things and has to be sent to the principal's office. She explains her actions to Sue Bob Murphy.

- Beware the Nice Ones: Gretchen is normally the nicest and least violent of the gang after Mikey, but physically grabs and shakes Menlo when he won't tell her about her missing Galileo computer and initiates a food fight with Kurst the Worst to get her to talk.
- Big Eater: Kurst the Worst.
- Book Dumb: Skeens apparently thinks "Degas" is an insulting word. As for Mundy, when Gretchen tries to explain the formula of viscosity, which he is unfamiliar with, Gretchen has to explain it in street terms: "A drop of liquid soap will make the bathroom look like a bat cave in no time."
- Calling Me a Logarithm: This line of dialogue:Gretchen: (complimenting Skeens' graffiti) Nice artwork! You're a regular Degas!
Skeens: What did you call me?! - Deliberately Monochrome: As an Affectionate Parody of Film Noir, this episode is entirely in black-and-white.
- How We Got Here: The episode opens with Gretchen being sent to the principal's office. She explains to Sue Bob Murphy how and why she ended up in there in the first place.
- Idiot Ball: Gretchen never took a hint that Skeens, Mundy, and Kurst were causing trouble. Miss Lemon even lampshades it.Miss Lemon: (to Gretchen) Oh, you're smart, girly, but it's all book and no street!
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Skeens is dismissive towards Gretchen when she wants to find Galileo, but happy to help after she teaches him a new word to write on the wall.
- Sue Bob Murphy is a troublemaker, but after Gretchen tells her the story of how she tried to get her stolen hand-held computer back, she gives it back to her.
- MacGuffin: The episode centers on how Gretchen received a Galileo personal computer for her tenth birthday, and how she tries to get it back after finding it missing.
- No Sympathy: The teachers share Gretchen's assessment that because she threatened Menlo, technically assisted in Skeen's and Mundy's delinquency, attacked Kurst in a rage, and tried to flee the scene, she does deserve some measure of punishment for being complicit in if not outright guilty of everything she's accused of.
- The Pardon: Subverted. In exchange for helping him with his computer, Prickly decides to not give Gretchen detention, but she still has to clean up the mess she made.
- Stolen Good, Returned Better: Gretchen's Galileo personal computer was stolen at first but then it is returned with an obvious label warning people from taking it or looking inside it.
- Technologically Blind Elders: Apparently, Principal Prickly can't even program a VCR, much less use a computer.
- Title Drop: Gretchen says to her friends, "No, [Finster's] right. I'm nothing but trouble."
- Took a Level in Badass: It took a lot of bravery for Gretchen to stand up to someone like Kurst the Worst and even more to hold her own in a food fight with her!
- Worthless Yellow Rocks: Due to it being an extremely rare and high-tech computer, every delinquent who manages to get Galileo in their mitts doesn't understand just how valuable, useful, and expensive it is, trading it to other kids for comically small amounts of food like a stick of gum or a slice of pizza.
