Sandy Drain Shenanigans is the twelfth Moshi Monsters mission and the second mission of Season Two.
It begins on the Rhapsody 2. Captain Squirk needs your help because his computer found one of his crew members at the Sandy Drain Hotel. He asks you to help find him. Click on "Of course Captain Squirk!". He then beams you over.
At the Sandy Drain Hotel, Simon Growl says that you don't belong as the hotel is for celebrities only. You tell him you're on a secret mission but he just goes into snark-disbelief mode. You ignore him and ask if he's seen a Zoshling. He doesn't know what that is, so you ask if he's seen anything fishy. He replies that he hasn't (besides this conversation). A large, intimidating-looking cow asks what the racket is and who you are. Click on her. She says she is Frau Nau BrownKau, the hotel enforcer...whoops, manager. She asks who you are but Simon Growl claims not to know you and leaves you to go to the pool. Frau Nau BrownKau points out that you're not a celebrity or with Simon, then asks if you want a room. If you click "No, but have you seen a Zoshling?", she claims not to knwo what one is and charges five million Rox per night. You point out that nobody has that much money, so she says that if you find her dentures, she will let you pass. Click "Ok, that sounds fair." Click the door to the pool.
At the pool, the teeth will be in a glass of water on the left. Click to go to Reception. Open your inventory (the blue bag on the right) and drag the dentures onto Frau Nau BrownKau. She spits out a Moshling that she's been using as dentures. Click on him. You ask who he is and he says his name is Rofl and he would get out of here if he was you. You say that you can't leave as you're on an important mission but ask if he's seen a Zoshling. He doesn't know what a Zoshling is, but does know that Frau Nau BrownKau has a weird pet in Spa room 3 but she only gives keycards to celebrities, who sometimes put them in their safety deposit boxes. She won't let you touch the boxes as they are private, so go to the pool.
Simon Growl's not in the mood to talk but Zack Binspin is. He asks if you want an autograph. You can say yes, but you don't have a pen. Go to Reception. There is a pen there but Frau Nau BrownKau won't let you touch it. Click the phone to drive her away. Then, click the pen. Then, go back to the pool.
At the pool, click on Zack, who gives you his autograph. Then, Frau Nau BrownKau appears to give the celebs spa treatment, leaving you in charge of Reception. While you're there, click on Simon Growl's box, and click to line up all the symbols which are not numbers. This will open it up and get an E.P.I.C.S. Look at Zack's photo. The number on it is 301. Use the same method to hack into Zack's box, but with the number 301. You have the key card for Spa 1. Go back to the pool.
At the pool, drag the key from your inventory onto Spa 1, then enter the spa.
In the spa, Zack's hair is way too long, apparently because Frau Nau BrownKau put gloop on it. Find some clippers and use them to cut Zack's hair from the bottom by dragging them from your inventory. They break and Zack says we need chompers, which gives you the idea to look for Rofl to help.
Back at reception, talk to Rofl. He suspects "that cow" and offers to get into the clippers. Drag the clippers onto him and he will get in.
Back at the spa, use the clippers (with Rofl inside) to bite off Zack's hair from the bottom. Click Zack, who tells you that the Frau went to Spa 3. Before leaving, collect an E.P.I.C.S. award from the sink. Then, click the exit. At the pool, the spa 3 key card is at the bottom and you can't swim.
Go to reception, then click on the broken torch. Then go to the pool, and then, to Spa 1.
At Spa 1, use the pole to grab the hook from the fish. Then, go back to the pool.
At the pool, open your inventory and use the pole to hook the plug. The card gets sucked down the drain but comes back up. Click on it, and your monster will joke that the pool is on a low-card diet. Open your inventory and use the card to enter Spa 3.
In the spa, the Zoshling in the background is being pummeled and you call the manager evil, but she says you are too late. Rofl, however, says he can take her on. Scroll left and find an E.P.I.C.S. Then, click to hide behind objects to avoid getting hit by gloop. If you do get hit, you'll have to start again. Then, Rofl bites Frau and she leaves.
At the Rhapsody 2, the Zozhling's name is revealed to be First Officer Ooze, and he's been "drained of his Cosmic Gloop". Captain Squirk asks what happened. Tell him, then he says that Ooze will be okay, with, (unfortunately) rest. Then, you can adopt Rofl.
This mission provides examples of

- Aliens Speaking English: The Zoshlings are aliens but can talk to you and other natives just fine.
- Animate Inanimate Object: This mission features a talking pair of dentures.
- Bad People Abuse Animals: Judging by this mission, bad cows certainly do.
- Barefoot Cartoon Animal: Frau Nau BrownKau doesn't wear shoes.
- Bilingual Bonus: "Frau" means "woman" in German.
- Bittersweet Ending: First Officer Ooze is saved, but still needs to rest.
- Cartoon Creature: Simon Growl's species is unknown.
- Cloud Cuckoo Lander: Apparently, Rofl and other Jabbering Jibberlings spout lots of gibberish when happy.
- Color Character: The hotel manager has "Brown" in her name.
- Cruella to Animals: Frau Nau BrownKau used one Moshling for teeth, nearly choked another in his own hair, and pummeled a third.
- Distressed Dude: Zack Binspin, who nearly choked in his own hair, and First Officer Ooze, who got drained of his Cosmic gloop.
- Exposed Extraterrestrial: First Officer Ooze wears no clothes, but Captain Squirk (also a Zoshling) wears some clothes.
- Formally-Named Pet: Zoshlings are basically alien Moshlings, and there's Captain Squirk and First Officer Ooze.
- Funny Animal: Coming to borderline Beast Man. Frau Nau BrownKau is a cow who stands upright and wears clothes. She also has arms instead of forelegs.
- Fully-Dressed Cartoon Animal: Simon Growl and Zack Binspin both wear shirts, pants and shoes.
- Humanoid Aliens: Played straight for Captain Squirk who has the general humanoid shape and averted for First Officer Ooze, who looks more like a snail.
- Kick the Dog: The first evil thing we see Frau Nau BrownKau do is make Zack's hair grow extra long, which seems to be for no reason at all.
- Meaningful Name: Frau Nau BrownKau is a cow and First Officer Ooze secretes gloop.
- Mister Strangenoun:
- Simon has "Growl" as his surname.
- Zack has "Bin" and "spin" in his last name.
- Frau Nau BrownKau has "Brown" in her name.
- The first officer is named Ooze.
- Punny Name: Frau Nau BrownKau's name is a pun on the saying, "how now, brown cow?".
- Red Is Heroic: Your Super Moshi's cape and mask are red.
- Shout-Out: When Captain Squirk says that he will "beam" you over, this is probably a reference to Star Trek, where teleportation via a transporter is known as "beaming".
- Superheroes Wear Capes: Your Super Moshi wears a cape, which the Frau points out.
- Teleportation: Captain Squirk "beams" you to the hotel.
- What Happened to the Mouse?: We never find out why the Frau was taking the Cosmic Gloop, other than the fact that it was probably (though not definitely) what she used to grow Zack's hair, and she was probably using it for nefarious purposes.
