Recap / Moshi Monsters Close Encounters Of The Zoshi Kind

Go To

Close Encounters of the Zoshi Kind is the eleventh Moshi Monsters mission and the first mission of Season Two.

It begins with your monster talking to Simon Growl outside his house. You note that he's survived the Fiery Castle and he thanks you for saving the day and asks why you came. You tell him that you need to use his private jet to fly to Music Island as soon as possible. He says that he is planning to go there himself but that you might have to fix the plane (starting with its wings, which are falling off), but that he can't do it himself because he's not a jet repairman. When you click the wing, your monster notes that it needs five screws, so find the screws on the screen and click them. (If you open the mansion's door, you will find an E.P.I.C.S.) If you cannot find the last screw, talk to Zack Binspin (the Moshling by the trash heap). He is surprised when you don't recognize him, so ask "Are you Zack Binspin?". He affirms and states he's recording songs. He asks if you want a photo with him and you say that you do not but instead want something to fix the jet wing. Zack will only help fans, by telling him that you like his long hair, that Moptop Tweenybop is his favourite song, and that you've searched for him in Brashcan Alley. He then gives you the screw. Open your inventory (the blue bag on the far right) and drag the screws onto the wing, then click the wing and then the screws (repeatedly) to screw them in. Simon then tells you to clean the windscreen. Click it, then click the bugs to get rid of them. Simon then tells you to fix the flat tyres. Click on a pump and open your inventory and drag it onto the wheel. Click the pump repeatedly to inflate the tyres. Then, click on Simon Growl, who lets you get in the plane. Then, hit space repeatedly to make it fly.

When you land, Buster Bumblechops is on Music Island too, looking for a Moshling. When you tell him that you are looking at a crash site in the jungle, he tells you that he's headed there too but before he can take you there, you need to collect his luggage. The luggage on the conveyor belt consists of a pet cage, a plushie, a spider, a trunk, a frozen Silly Snuffler, two bags, a boot, a net and a camera. Give the pet cage to Simon (who leaves but gives you an E.P.I.C.S.) and the trunk, net and camera to Buster (from your inventory). Then, you can head off.

In the jungle, you find a "Coco Loco tree" and that "Coco Locos" are attracted to mungus bells. Find the mungus bells (they look like little bells) and click on them. A moshling will plop down. Buster says that you can entice the moshling down with musical instruments and a "frogestra". Click on everything that looks like a musical instrument and on the frogs, that are apparently missing a "croaker". Then, click on the final frog and drag them from your Inventory to complete the choir. Then, Buster will play the instruments and you copy them in order. Then, the tune from the stores will play. The Moshling will drop down and lead you through a cave to the crash site, where a UFO has crashed and an alien says that help has arrived (P.S. There's an E.P.I.C.S. in the bushes. Click on it.) Click on the alien, whose name is Captain Squirk and he is a Zoshling from a faraway galaxy on a planet Symphonia and that he was investigating something but got knocked by a flying glove and he and his crew crash-landed, scattering the crew all over the island. Adopt Coco Loco, then enter the ship to help Captain Squirk.

Inside the ship, which is apparently called the Rhapsody 2 and is the fastest ever, he shows you the main computer, which is searching for the crew, which they need to power the ship, and says that he'll let you know when a crew member has been found.
