The one with the foot fetish website.
After admitting her real shoe size during a night of bowling (and finding out from a shoe salesman that she's actually a size 16-and-a-half and will hit a size 20 in a few years), Peggy feels ashamed of her big feet — until a "foot doctor" makes Peggy an Internet star on a foot fetish website, under the guise that it's a series of empowerment videos for women in her situation.
Tropes:
- Fetish: The crux of the episode's plot. With Peggy getting roped into making foot fetish videos, she tries to cope with it after she finds out with some False Reassurance, but she cracks in the end.
- Freudian Excuse: Grant tries to justify his Dirty Old Man nature to Peggy by claiming that he tried to reach the empowerment demographic, only to then realize that All Men Are Perverts instead and begin catering to them instead. This doesn't ease her.
- Literal Asskicking: Hank's typical threat of kicking someone's ass is welcomed by the sleazy Grant as the topic of a possible foot fetish video. He asks Hank to wait for him to turn his camera on before he starts, at which point Hank just turns around and leaves.
- Oh, Crap!: Hank's reaction after finding out that Peggy is naively putting herself on a foot fetish website.Hank: Oh! My! God!
- Peggy also has this reaction when Hank shows her the website.
- Retcon: Up until this point, Peggy was never really bothered by her foot size, and even uses it to her advantage in "Leanne's Saga" just two seasons prior.
- Secret Sex Worker: A "foot doctor" convinces Peggy to let him take pictures of her especially large feet for a website under the guise of "empowerment" for large-footed women. It turns out it's actually a foot fetish porn site, but she continues as it makes her feel better about her foot size, while keeping it a secret from Hank (using flimsier and flimsier excuses while she's really attending the Sleazy Photoshoots). She ultimately learns a Be Yourself Aesop and tells Hank, who threatens the "doctor" into taking down the website.
- Sleazy Photoshoot: Peggy begins to be dismayed over her large feet, but is directed to Grant Trimble by another woman who says that he helped her with the same problem. Trimble talks her into making what's presented as an educational video about the positives of large feet, but this is a thin veneer to legitimize what's actually a foot fetish video that makes its way to the internet. Peggy eventually finds out the truth, which crushes her even further, but a pep talk from Bobby helps her get past her shame and accept her feet.
- Special Guest: Sydney Pollack as Grant Trimble and Joanna Gleason as Maddy Platter.
- Threat Backfire: When Hank threatens to kick Grant's ass if he does not discontinue Peggy's porn videos, Grant actually welcomes this threat by trying to film Hank do it, causing Hank to decide not to follow through on his threat.
- Unwitting Instigator of Doom: Dale's bowling alley trip is ultimately what causes Peggy grief about her foot size.
- What the Hell, Hero?: Bobby of all people gives Peggy one of these after spending the episode being extremely skeptical about the "they" she keeps bringing up. Pointing out that he's not ashamed of his own flaws and that she shouldn't be ashamed of hers.
