It's the height of summer and the invasion is on! Vacance Wald has finally succeeded in invading the Zenkaigers' world... by using the power of vacation? With everybody under this strange trance, the Tozitend seem to have won. How will the team get themselves out of this one? And why exactly are they slicing watermelons?!
Tropes
- Actor Allusion: Zocks says "shaky shaky" during his roll-call sequence. GENIC, an idol group that Atsuki Mashiko is in, released a song in July called "Shaky Shaky".
- The Bad Guy Wins: Achieved by Vacance Wald at first, but then ruined by Barashitara's firm hold on the Idiot Ball.
- Beach Episode: Half of the episode takes place on the beach, with the team playing various games with Vacance Wald and his lackeys to gain dominance.
- Breather Episode: This episode slingshots right back into the insane humor Zenkaiger has built itself on, after the last few episodes' more serious tone.
- Fanservice: We finally get to see Flint without her tights, and the results are quite impressive.
- Hoist by Their Own Petard:
- The Zenkaigers using the Griffon Magma Galaxy attack to send Vacance Wald into the air allowed him to activate his powers, successfully putting the entire world on vacation and earning the Tozitend their first successful takeover of the world.
- The Tozitend would have successfully taken over the Zenkaiger World... if not for the fact that Barashitara couldn't handle the sight of all his soldiers going on vacation as well because of Vacance Wald, causing him to destroy the Wald to undo everything as a result.
- Idiot Ball: Barashitara's General Failure rage costed Tozitendo the most certain victory over Zenkaiger they had so far in the story.
- Mundane Utility: Taken in by the vacation mood, the Sentai Gears were used this way.
- Gear #05 was used to abuse the Vulcan Ball for the Zenkaigers to win in a beach volleyball match against Vacance Wald.
- Gear #44 was used to create sparkling confetti to celebrate the Goldtsuikers' win in a floating ring toss party game.
- And finally the Zenkaigers and Twokaizer all suit up for a game of Keep Away Smashing Watermelons.
- Vacance Wald also indulges in this as well, introducing a one-time Elite Mook used only for the beach volleyball and ring toss matches, a bulkier Kudack known as a Muscle Kudack.
- Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: Tozitend would have effectively won, if Barashitara wasn't angry enough about the Kudacks goofing off to kill Vacance Wald in retaliation.
- Rage Breaking Point: Seeing his army and Vacance Wald lazing around with the Zenkaigers and various other civilians pushes Barashitara way past this point, culminating in him one-shotting Vacance Wald.
- Villain Has a Point: A Kudaiter sent to scout the now-conquered Zenkaiger World to repurpose it suggests to Barashitara it be turned into a resort. Barashitara didn't take it well due to his subordinates already being on vacation without his permission.
