Woz: The course of Sougo Tokiwa’s actions allow Tsukuyomi to become a Kamen Rider.
However, she has made a rather… unexpected decision.
The world will end…
…now, as we turn the final page.

Tsukuyomi, with the power of her recently acquired Ridewatch and her own Ziku Driver, transforms in Kamen Rider Tsukuyomi, but all of a sudden, she stops time and betrays Sougo and her friends. With that, the remnants escape.

Sougo, Geiz, Woz and Tsukasa Kadoya return to 95 DO to discuss the recent situation. Tsukasa’s original plan is to make Tsukuyomi a Kamen Rider, because her world is lacking a Kamen Rider and is falling apart as a result. Ideally, once Tsukuyomi became a Kamen Rider, she will return to her homeworld and then create a link with Sougo in this world, uniting the worlds. Still, this plan lacks a means to migrate billions of humans on Zi-O’s world to Tsukuyomi’s homeworld.

Meanwhile in the city, Tsukuyomi tells her brother about Tsukasa’s plan. Swartz actually agrees with the plan, especially after Tsukuyomi promises to support Swartz’s rule as king in the new world.

The following morning, Sougo has breakfast with Junichiro. The uncle tells him not to make this a last meal, and that he should come home with his friends when the crisis is stopped. Before Sougo departs for the final battle, Junichiro presents him with the repaired 20 Ridewatches, citing that for a master watch repairer like him, repairing watches is a breeze.

In the city, the horde of Kamen Rider enemies are wreaking havoc everywhere. Geiz, Woz, Tsukasa and Daiki Kaito struggle to fight the monsters, which is made worse when stronger foes such as N-Daguva-Zeba, Gamedeus, Evolt, and the Sagittarius Zodiarts enter the scene.

With the help of Tsukuyomi, Another Decade defeats the four Riders, before Sougo arrives with the newly-restored Grand Zi-O Ridewatch, and transforms into Grand Zi-O. Despite this comeback, Swartz is too powerful and easily defeats Sougo.

Swartz attempts to kill Sougo, but suddenly Geiz in his Revive Shippu form jumps into the shot. As he slowly slips away in Sougo's arms, Geiz confesses he has no regrets returning to 2018 and befriending Sougo, encouraging the young lad to become Ohma Zi-O. Grieved and enraged, Sougo, with his newly evolved Ohma Zi-O driver, transforms into Ohma Zi-O, rendering Woz speechless until Sougo commands him to herald his advent. Swartz celebrates his plan's success, declaring he can finally absorb all of Sougo's powers and become the undisputed king. He begins absorbing said power... only to learn too late that he can't, because Ohma Zi-O's power is the power of all the Kamen Riders; Swartz is left recoiling in pain for his troubles. Angered, he throws the final bosses at Ohma Zi-O, but Sougo obliterates them all and plows through the monstrous legions effortlessly. Realizing he can never defeat Ohma Zi-O, Swartz tries to flee, but Tsukuyomi backstabs him. Realising Tsukuyomi feigned her loyalty, an angry Swartz kills his own sister, but that ends up becoming the last mistake he ever makes, because a now infuriated Sougo, having witnessed this murder, screams in unbridled, primitive fury, and executes Ohma Zi-O Hissatsu Geki to brutally kill Swartz/Another Decade in revenge.

As the two siblings fade from existence, Tsukuyomi pleads with her brother to cease his futile attempts to beat Sougo. Swartz goes down kicking and screaming in fury, pain, and denial, while a serene Tsukuyomi entrusts Sougo with the future of their two worlds, which merge into one.

The battle is over, Swartz is dead, the monsters are gone, and the world is saved. Topping off this victory, Woz approaches Sougo and pledges his everlasting loyalty to the newly crowned king. However, Sougo doesn't want to rule as he will destroy this timeline. Suddenly, the young lad is brought in front of his future self. The old Demon King asks if Sougo is really willing to discard his lifelong dream, to which, the boy answers that he doesn't want to become a king if his friends are dead. The old king chuckles amusedly over his younger counterpart's answer, fading from existence.

As Sougo destroys the timeline, Tsukasa and Kaito are watching in the distance, with the world traveller musing over his adventure in World of Zi-O ending and waiting for another adventure in the future. With that, the Riders' worlds are restored, the damage to them undone.

The year is 2018 in Sougo's world, and Sougo Tokiwa is a normal high schooler reaching the end of his summer vacation. As he departs for the school, he meets his schoolmates, Geiz, Tsukuyomi, Ora and Heure who accompany him as they rush off to face another school semester together, destined to live a normal life...

Episode Tropes:

  • Adaptational Badass: To show how powerful the Another World variants of past Big Bads are, Evol is shown using an Unrealistic Black Hole to attack the city in his phase one form, something he could only do in his phase four form in Build.
  • All for Nothing: Subverted. While Sougo did became Ohma Zi-O, it’s only for one-time use and he uses up all of its power later by fixing the timeline through separating them into the 20 worlds.
  • And the Adventure Continues: Woz hints that Sougo becoming Zi-O again in the future is still a possibility. It happened.
  • Back from the Dead: Due to Sougo giving up his powers to undo all the damage that Swartz did, Geiz, Tsukuyomi, Heure and Ora are alive again.
  • Book Ends:
    • Ohma Zi-O (future Sougo) is the first Rider to appear onscreen in the series, delivering a Curb-Stomp Battle to the Resistance. Ohma Zi-O (present Sougo) is the last Rider to appear onscreen, also stomping on Swartz and his lackeys, and then restores the worlds and the timelines at the cost of his powers and his future self's existence.
    • The new timeline Sougo creates has him judo-tossed in the same way he was in the first episode, except the one tossing him is a reincarnated Geiz.
    • Also one for the Heisei Era: Just like in Kuuganote , The Hero is forced to cross the Godzilla Threshold and use a form that has immense power and could almost certainly defeat the villain, who's just proven too strong for every other option they've tried… but said form is a symbol of the hero having turned evil. However, in the end, The Hero doesn't become the evil being they feared and they remain the good person they always were. Bonus points for having N-Daguva-Zeba to be involved in both series' respective Final Battles (Daguva as the Big Bad in Kuuga and one of Swartz’s Dragons in Zi-O) and for both Godai and Sougo being depowered (albeit in different ways) after the final battle. As an extra icing on the cake, both Kuuga and Zi-O soundtracks are composed by Toshihiko Sahashi.
    • The episode’s name contains two:
  • Broken Faceplate: As Geiz jumps in front of Swartz's attack to protect Sougo, the sheer force of the blast shatters his helmet.
  • Chekhov's Gag: The Running Gag of Junichiro constantly being tasked with repairing things that aren’t clocks despite running a clock repair shop gets some glorious payoff in the form of him fixing all the Ridewatches simply with his horology skill.
  • The Constant: Tsukasa reveals that there is one constant in the multiverse, Kamen Riders. Because Tsukuyomi’s reality didn’t have a single Rider, it was being erased but once Tsukuyomi became one it was saved.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: As Ohma Zi-O, Sougo single-handedly defeats all of the villains that were summoned by Swartz without breaking a sweat.
  • Dark Is Evil: Swartz. After being killed by Sougo, Swartz appears in his black suit and hat as he refuses to give up compared to the benevolent bright glowing Tsukuyomi.
  • Dark Is Not Evil: Sougo actually becomes Ohma Zi-O this episode, but stays benevolent to the very end.
  • Death by Irony: Swartz is killed by Sougo, the very same man whom he manipulated into becoming the infamous Ohma Zi-O fifty years later.
  • Demoted to Dragon: N-Daguva-Zeba, Utopia Dopant, Sagittarius Zodiarts, Gamedeus, and Kamen Rider Evol were all originally either the Big Bad, Final Boss, or in Gamedeus’s case, an extremely powerful third party that was involved in his season’s final battle. Here, they’re all working for Swartz.
  • De-power: In the end, Sougo uses his powers as Ohma Zi-O to fix all the damage caused by Swartz at the price of his powers.
  • Disney Death: Despite being killed off earlier, Geiz and Tsukuyomi, along with Heure and Ora, are later brought back to life when Sougo gave up Ohma Zi-O’s powers to rewrite history again.
  • Earn Your Happy Ending: After sacrificing Ohma Zi-O's power to restore the worlds, Heure, Ora, Geiz, and Tsukuyomi were given a second chance to live with Sougo as his high-school friends.
  • End of an Era: The final Heisei Rider’s story comes to a close.
  • Fake Defector: Tsukuyomi definitely took a page from Woz's book (no pun intended) to fake her departure to Swartz's side.
  • Foe-Tossing Charge: After becoming Ohma Zi-O, Sougo goes on one to get to Swartz, ripping through his monster army with zero effort.
  • Freeze-Frame Bonus: Once you pause the part the main timeline is restored, you can count up to twenty-one worlds instead of 20. The most likely candidate, given that it’s the 21st world involved in the series' plot, is Swartz’s and Tsukuyomi's homeworld. It's actually Zero-One's.
  • Godzilla Threshold: Things get so bad that Geiz of all people begs Sougo to become Ohma Zi-O to defeat Swartz. And of course Sougo using the power of (or even turning into) Ohma Zi-O, the very person he desperately sought to avoid becoming. To be fair for Sougo though, he has no other available options and is informed by his future self about Ohma Zi-O's power being the only chance that can defeat Swartz in the previous episode, but still…
  • Graceful Loser: Despite Sougo's decision erasing Ohma Zi-O from existence, he says it was interesting to meet his past self as he disappears laughing.
  • Grand Finale: Not just for Kamen Rider Zi-O, but for the Heisei Kamen Rider era as a whole.
  • He's Back!: Sougo returns as Grand Zi-O as he summons Kamen Riders W, OOO, Wizard, and Gaim against Swartz to his shock.
  • Hoist by His Own Petard: Swartz killing Geiz due to him Taking the Bullet and killing Tsukuyomi out of anger when she stabs him in the back, as the only thing keeping Sougo from killing him was the idea he'd never see his friends again. With both of them dead, Sougo has no reason to hold back and is fresh out of mercy.
  • Iconic Item: Ohma Zi-O’s confetti, which appears albeit floating upwards to signify Sougo restoring the world.
  • In Spite of a Nail: Despite Swartz’s death and the timelines being repaired, Sougo still wants to become a king. Also, his parents still remain dead.
  • In the Back: In delicious karma, Tsukuyomi stabs Swartz in the back as he prepares to run away from Sougo. This weakens Swartz enough that Sougo is easily able to charge his finisher before Swartz can try again.
  • Irony:
    • Geiz originally traveled to the past to kill Sougo before he became Ohma Zi-O, but in the end Geiz gave his life protecting Sougo and in his last moments even begged Sougo to become Ohma Zi-O. To make it even more ironic, Geiz protected Sougo only because of the Geiz Revive Ridewatch, the power that can kill Ohma Zi-O.
    • Tsukuyomi originally believed if Sougo gained the powers of Ohma Zi-O, he would undeniably turn evil, even losing her trust in him when he gained the powers of Zi-O II. But as she dies, she states she trusts Sougo with her world even though Sougo became Ohma Zi-O. Also the powers of Ohma Zi-O that she feared was used to make the Tsukuyomi Ridewatch that she used to save the world.
  • Karmic Death: Swartz spent the entire season tormenting and manipulating Sougo into becoming Ohma Zi-O. He succeeds, but then Sougo, who had pushed way past the edge with the deaths of nearly all of friends, kills him the same way Swartz killed most of his other victims as the exact same Ohma Zi-O Swartz forced him to become.
  • Killed Off for Real: Swartz ends up being annihilated via Rider Kick by Ohma Zi-O after Tsukuyomi stabbed him In the Back.
  • Laser-Guided Karma: After spending the entire series manipulating everyone around him, Swartz is manipulated and literally backstabbed by his own sister, Tsukuyomi/Alpina, the person he hates the most just because she played to his gigantic ego.
  • Light Is Good: Made more obvious when Tsukuyomi and Swartz talk to each other right before their deaths, the benevolent Tsukuyomi glows white.
  • Mundane Solution: Swartz’s plan to save his world from being erased was to destroy all other worlds that had Kamen Riders in them, but as Tsukasa pointed out, what his world actually needed was a Kamen Rider to represent it, which Tsukuyomi became and saved it as a result. Despite this however, Swartz still decides to follow through with his original plan in order to rule the world.
  • No-Sell: Every attack made on Sougo as Ohma Zi-O is instantly shrugged off, be it by Swartz, his summoned Riders, or the previous series' Monsters of the Week.
  • One-Hit Kill: Ohma Zi-O’s Rider Kick is more than enough to finish off an insanely powerful opponent such as Swartz.
  • Power of Friendship: In the end what truly defeated Ohma Zi-O was friendship. Due to Geiz and Tsukuyomi befriending Sougo, he realizes that he didn’t want to become a king if it meant losing his only friends and at the cost of his powers, Sougo undid all the damage caused by Swartz.
  • Professional Butt-Kisser: Invoked example as Tsukuyomi acts like one for Swartz to get his trust so she can kill him when the time is right.
  • Re-Power:
    • Tsukuyomi becoming a Kamen Rider returns her time powers.
    • Junichiro repairs the other 18 Ridewatches that Sougo collected which also brings back Grand Zi-O.
  • Reset Button: Sougo using his powers to reset the timeline puts everything back to the beginning of the series but with some changes such as Geiz, Tsukuyomi, Heure and Ora alive and now living in his era instead of their various eras or dimensions.
  • Ripple-Effect-Proof Memory: After Sougo resets all of Swartz’s damage, Woz is the only one who remembers the events of the previous timeline.
  • Screw Destiny: After transforming into Ohma Zi-O, Sougo wasted no time fixing the mess Swartz made, and this includes giving up Ohma Zi-O’s power to do so.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Swartz attempts to flee back to his own dimension after realizing how far Ohma Zi-O outmatches him. Tsukuyomi prevents him from escaping.
  • Sixth Ranger Traitor: Subverted. Once she became a Kamen Rider, Tsukuyomi fakes her allegiance to Swartz.
  • Superpowers For A Day: For Sougo, using Ohma Zi-O’s power is for one-time only.
  • Tonight, Someone Dies: The preview outright tells the viewers that Geiz will die, prompting Sougo to use Ohma Zi-O's Ziku-Driver as his last resort. Fortunately, Geiz gets better later though.
  • Too Spicy For Yog Sogoth: Swartz attempts to absorb Sougo’s power when he becomes Ohma Zi-O, only to actually get damaged by the power.
  • Underestimating Badassery: Swartz who set Sougo up to become Ohma Zi-O and thus should know the extent of that power the best for some reason believes he can easily steal Sougo's power. It takes a second before he realizes just how wrong he was.
  • Villain: Exit, Stage Left: Subverted. Swartz tries to escape back to his world once he realizes that Ohma Zi-O is too powerful to deal with, only for Tsukuyomi to pick that moment to literally backstab him.
  • The Worf Effect:
    • The sheer power of Ohma Zi-O is made entirely clear when he takes out the apocalyptic N-Daguva-Zeba and the cosmic destroyer Evol with a single hit. The rest of the villains then follow suit.
    • Even better, despite killing Daguva with a Rider Kick that created the destruction glyph of Kuuga’s kicks that usually detonate a Grongi’s Amadam, Daguva blew up no more destructive than the typical monster, implying that Ohma Zi-O could contain the power of the explosion, thus showing even more control than Kuuga Ultimate.
    • Decade and Diend are sent flying with one blast and are effectively down for the count for the rest of the final battle, unable to help Sougo (which makes sense as they're just guest stars from another show in the end). They only appear again after he's won.
  • World's Strongest Man: Sougo as Ohma Zi-O shows why every character in the show is so frightened by Sougo’s power when he’s able to One-Hit Kill villains who have threatened to wipe out all life on Earth and more.

Woz: For average high-school student Sougo Tokiwa, a future in which he becomes the Overlord of Time, Ohma Zi-O, awaits.
...Or perhaps not. The future is not so clearly written.
It would appear that the path before us diverges greatly from what has been written before.
