It's been a full week since Ikki and Vice's positions were reversed — that is, since Ikki became translucent and intangible! At Happy Spa, Vice and Tamaki's struggles are getting continuously counterproductive, as the number of customers starts to dwindle off until nothing but ambient silence remains! Meanwhile, George visits Happy Spa with a plan to possibly reverse the state of Ikki and Vice! He wants to test it as soon as possible, but Ikki gets caught up with the notion that Vice still mistrusts George! Meanwhile, Olteca has George in his sights, seeking to use him to trigger the next stage of evolution of the Demons Driver...!

Tropes:

  • Breaking the Fourth Wall: With Ikki now in incorporeal form, it's now him who discusses how Happy Spa was thrown into a pandemonium.
  • Didn't See That Coming: Neither Karizaki foresaw Vice and Ikki fusing together, although Masumi takes it much better than his son.
  • Distressed Dude: George gets kidnapped by Olteca, intent on increasing the power of the Demons Driver.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: Aguilera is visibly disturbed at Olteca casually turning Kanae into a Gifftarian.
  • Evil Is Not a Toy: Olteca finds out the hard way that the demon in the Demons Driver was never on his side to begin with, when it both denies him using a third Genomix and then promptly abandons him without a second thought.
  • Flat "What": When the realization hits Ikki and Vice. So does Sakura.
  • How We Got Here: Ikki explains how Happy Spa got trashed, with Vice and Tamaki quaking under Daiji's gaze.
  • Gone Horribly Right: Using the Rex Vistamp with the Rolling Vistamp brings Ikki back to the corporeal world... but as a result both him and Vice are now Sharing a Body much like Daiji and Kagero.
  • I'm Having Soul Pains: Daiji is shown to have a splitting headache just like Vice had earlier because Giff's pulses have grown strong enough to reach Kagero inside him. What's worse, Kagero claims to be getting stronger, too.
  • Out-Gambitted: Olteca at end of the episode. He got cheated by Karizaki, beaten by the combined forces of Revice and Jeanne and ditched by the demon in the Demons driver, leaving him basically useless.
  • The Un-Smile: According to Daiji, Tamaki's smiles look forced and he uses them too often.
  • Wham Episode: The demon inside the Demons Driver is set free and now able to pursue its own goals separate from the Deadmans.
  • Wham Line: When Olteca blames George for lying to him about unlocking the Demons Driver's full potential, the Driver reveals it was the one holding him back. And then...
Demons Driver: I suppose it's time I returned home... (shot of something leaving the Demons Driver)
  • Wham Shot:
    • A minor one in that Vice now speaks through Ikki (albeit with the latter's body growing a tail and two hornlike white streaks of hair when he does so), revealing they are now Sharing a Body in Daiji/Kagero's fashion.
    • Masumi Karizaki had been working on a second Demons Driver-like belt in Weekend's base. The next episode reveals that it was a Super Prototype.
    • The demon within the Demons Driver leaving it.
