A Coconut to Remember
- Bank Robbery: Jabberjaw and Loopy are shown robbing a bank to get a loan to fix the store.
- Bathroom Stall of Angst: Played for Laughs; Magilla orders Jabberjaw to cry in the bathroom like everyone else.
- The Cameo:
- The Clue Club appear briefly in cutaways.
- Mr. Peebles appears in a portrait.
- Fred Flintstone appears as a graphic on a bow-tie.
- Coconut Meets Cranium: Magilla Gorilla takes a coconut to the head and gets Easy Amnesia. Jabberjaw uses this to her advantage, up to and including pelting him with dozens of coconuts.
- Cranial Eruption: Magilla gets a lot of tall bumps on his head when hit with coconuts.
- Curse Cut Short: In Jabberjaw's Imagine Spot, she tells all the mean girls in high school to kiss her ass, but the last part is interrupted by El Kabong arriving on the scene.
- Cutaway Gag: The episode is interspersed with small gags featuring the Clue Club.
- Daydream Surprise: The first minute of the episode, in which Jabberjaw is made assistant manager, gets thrown a parade, and becomes girlfriend to every male in town, is revealed to be her dreaming while asleep on the job.
- Easy Amnesia: Magilla gets amnesia just by getting hit with a coconut.
- Here We Go Again!: Jabberjaw keeps hitting Magilla with coconuts and giving him amnesia to keep her promotion; at the end, both of them get hit with coconuts and get amnesia.
- Journey to the Center of the Mind: Jabberjaw has to enter Magilla's mind to restore his memories after one too many coconuts to the head.
- I Kiss Your Hand: El Kabong kises Jabberjaw's fin in her Imagine Spot.
- Laser-Guided Karma: For giving Magilla amnesia, Jabberjaw gets hit with a coconut herself at the end.
- Pyromaniac: Loopy is shown carrying a flamethrower and suggests burning down the store.
- Race Lift: As shown in the cutaway gags, Larry, D.D., and Sheriff Bagley are all black now.
- Shout-Out: One of the Clue Club cameos has Woofer stating that the culprit was "Old Man Jenkins"; a name frequently used on SpongeBob SquarePants (which CH Greenblatt had previously worked on).
Grocery Store
- Astral Projection: Doggie Daddy at one point attempts to astral project himself to Augie.
- The Cameo: Smirky from Around the World in 79 Days makes a cameo on the Cannelonely Pasta for Bachelors in El Kabong's basket.
- Coat Full of Contraband: Augie (possibly) imagines Quack-Up from Yogi's Space Race offering her insurance via a coat.
- Disney Acid Sequence: One scene features Augie Doggie dancing among dancing cheeses in a vaporwave backdrop, while elongating her mouth to severely chomp on one of them.
- Freak Out: Doggie Daddy left Augie to go get bananas while he stays in line, but when it's his turn to pay and Augie hasn't returned, he tries to stall for time and ends up going crazy.
- Frozen Dinner of Loneliness: Peter Potamus is shown buying a "Lonely-Man" microwave dinner for one.
- Freeze-Frame Bonus: Later on, Shazzan is shown back at his free samples booth with Mildew standing next to him making kissy faces.
- Grocery Store Episode: It’s in the name!
- Hopeless Suitor: As we find out in this episode, Mildew Wolf is this to Shazzan. He purposefully breaks his leg to try and flirt with him, to no avail.
- Instant Taste Addiction: Augie Doggie tries cheese on crackers for the first time, and loves it so much that she gorges herself on more.
- Mundane Object Amazement: Augie becomes amazed by everything at the store.
- Mythology Gag: The store is called Barbera's.
- Nobody Here but Us Birds: Doggie Daddy teaches a bird call to Augie so they can find each other.
- Something We Forgot: Despite singing a whole ode to bananas, Augie and Daddy forgot to put bananas in their shopping cart, kickstarting the plot of the episode.

- Take That!: Doggie Daddy instructs Augie not to take candy from strangers... or buy insurance from a duck
