As the Kingdom of Levin continues its reconstruction, Albert spots the Celestial Eye flying around in the sky. Finding it to be suspicious, Albert seeks Yurius for his assistance, despite the latter's exile for slaying the previous king.

During their search, the Grandcypher finds itself damaged and being dragged to a nearby island with Albert falling off some distance. Standing right next to Albert is the man he's looking for.


Tropes

  • Anger Born of Worry: At the end of the event, Albert lashes out on Yurius due to worrying about the latter's attempt to commit suicide.
  • Electricity Knocks You Out: After pissing off Albert enough, Mallow gets subjected to his wrath via lightning and goes unconscious.
  • Evil Chancellor: Mallow intentionally revived the Celestial Eye and stole documents related to the Skyblade to further his own agenda.
  • The Exile: Due to his crimes, Yurius is forced into exile as punishment. He's no longer one after the new king pardons him at the end of the event.
  • Heroic Sacrifice: Subverted and later defied. Yurius attempts to pull this off against the Celestial Eye, even crippling the Grandcypher so that it won't get caught in the blast. He later changes his mind after seeing the crew's determination and splits the self-destruct device away from himself. After this, he and Albert made a vow to never sacrifice themselves for the greater good.
  • No One Could Survive That!: Yurius covered the Captain and Albert from the explosion he was originally used to kill himself. His injuries from doing this was stated to be awful, yet managed to live through by using his Healing Factor.
  • Unwitting Pawn: Mallow convinces Jeno that the Celestial Eye's revival is part of the new king's plan and tricks him into doing his dirty work. Jeno is not amused after being told the truth.
  • Wounded Gazelle Gambit: To get Mallow to show his true colors, Yurius pretends to play the villain card and "defeats" Albert to force him into using the Celestial Eye.
