An innocent little dare between Mac and Bloo turns into a huge daring competition between the house members once Madame Foster gets involved.

- A Taste of Their Own Medicine: Mac gives Bloo some of this when a dare from Bloo to be as awesome as him as Mac mocks his attitude.

- For a series of dares involving Sloppy Moe from Mac and Bloo, it goes from shaking his hand (Bloo), to hugging him (Mac), to kissing him (Bloo), to licking him (Mac), and eventually marring Sloppy Moe (Bloo).
- Shout-Out: One of the dares Bloo has is for Peas to knock a battery off his shoulder, a reference to a famous commercial for Eveready batteries featuring Robert Conrad.
- Skyward Scream: Bloo does this mixed with a Big "NO!" after throwing his paddleballs ion the fireplace.
