Having finally returned to Earthland with new arrivals, the Strongest Team learn the truth behind the Exceeds' plans, as well as how Lisanna ended up in Edolas.
- The Atoner: Shagotte decides to hold off revealing she is Carla's mother until she has found all the Exceeds she sent to Earthland.
- Bittersweet Ending: Leaning more on the sweet than bitter side. The heroes have returned to Earthland with their friends safe and sound, the Exceeds have Took a Level in Kindness, and Lisanna is reunited with her siblings. However the chapter ends with Arkham ominously watching them, paving the way for the next arc.
- Character Tics: Sir Nabi's usual habit of pumping one of his arms is lampshaded throughout the chapter, especially once the others unknowingly start doing the same.
- Continuity Nod:
- Carla and Trish are the one to fill the others in about the Exceeds' God Guise.
- Lucky and Marl recall Happy and Carla mentioning Mundus from Extalia.
- Shagotte explaining how and why the Exceed eggs were sent to Earthland makes Natsu and Lisanna recall finding Happy's during their childhood.
- Didn't See That Coming:
- Among Fairy Tail, even the likes of Dante and Modeus were surprised that the Exceeds were brought into Earthland as well.
- Carla is gobsmacked to learn that her 'mission' came as a result of her ability to see the future and misinterpreting the information.
- Forced to Watch: In a flashback, poor Mirajane is helpless to stop Lisanna's unconscious body from being absorbed by the anima.
- Foreshadowing: The chapter ends with Arkham watching Fairy Tail, setting up the next arc.
- Friend to All Living Things: Lisanna was this long before her time in Edolas, her grave reading as such.Lisanna Strauss. Beloved sister and friend to animal souls
- Fun Size: Panther-Lily's arrival in Earthland resulted in him shrinking to the same size as Happy and Carla, to everyone's disbelief.
- Greater-Scope Villain: Mundus, whom Shagotte foresaw causing the fall of Extalia and lead to her decision to send the Exceed eggs to Earthland. This in turn set off many of the events of the Edolas arc in the present.
- Hero Killer: One of Nelo Angelo's victims was Lisanna's Edolas counterpart.
- Humble Pie: The Exceeds learning of their actual frailty leads to them shedding their arrogance and Fantastic Racism, being happy to help out humans.
- Internal Reveal:
- Trish and Carla inform the others about the Exceeds' God Guise.
- Lisanna expands on how she wound up in Edolas when everyone thought she died two years ago.
- Last Episode, New Character: The final chapter of the Edolas arc, with the final shot having Arkham overlooking Fairy Tail.
- Lightning Reveal: At the end of the chapter and ominous figure is watching Fairy Tail, and a lightning strike reveals features that describe Arkham.
- Like Father, Like Son:
- Shagotte has the same Seer magic as her daughter Carla, on top of the two looking very similar.
- Despite physically resembling his father, Happy's upbeat attitude is similar to his mother, Marl.
- Luke, I Am Your Father: Averted by Shagotte, as well as Lucky and Marl, who decide not to tell Carla and Happy that the older Exceeds are their mother and parents respectively.
- O.O.C. Is Serious Business: The normally laidback Dante is ready with a death threat to Shagotte to get her to expand on the Exceeds' mission, showing how personally he took the 'mission' she gave Happy and Carla. Understandable given it affected two of his friends agency and the safety of the rest.
- The Nose Knows: Natsu is able to tell Lucky and Marl are Happy's parents on account of their similar scents.
- Point of Divergence: Since she revealed herself to the Earthland wizards much sooner, Lisanna joins them when they arrive back in Earthland and isn't caught by Panther-Lily.
- Secret-Keeper:
- Dante easily deduces Shagotte is Carla's mother, but elects to let the younger Exceed find out on her own terms.
- Likewise Natsu and Lisanna figure out Lucky and Marl are Happy's parents, but elect to let them reveal it on their terms.
- Seers: Carla's flashes of information over the Edolas arc are revealed to be a form of future sight.
- Ship Tease: Natsu is elated to have Lisanna, and warmly welcomes her back to Earthland.
- Spanner in the Works: Carla turns out to have been this to Shagotte's plan, her fledgling future vision acting to counter a 'mission' that never existed.
- Suicidal Overconfidence: Discussed regarding the Exceeds, with those behind the God Guise noting that even if they had warned the population of the danger they queen foresaw, they'd simply assume their (nonexistent) power would be enough to keep them safe.
- Tears of Joy:
- Shagotte when bidding farewell to Carla.
- Played for Laughs with Gajeel, who is over the moon to finally have an Exceed companion in the form of Panther-Lily.
- Many are shed with Lisanna's official welcome home from Natsu and Happy, all three shedding some, and during her reunion with her siblings.
- Took a Level in Kindness: The Exceeds as a whole have outgrown their Fantastic Racism, being excited at the idea of helping people and the ones in on the God Guise wishing to find the ones they sent to Earthland.
- Weirdness Magnet: Lampshaded by Modeus when Panther-Lily asks to join Fairy Tail, noting the guild attracts all sorts of unusual members. Dante cites the two demons fit that description as well.
- Well-Intentioned Extremist: Shagotte and those behind the God Guise were simply seeking to keep their people safe with the God Guise. Even their 'kill the Dragon Slayers' mission was nothing more than a ruse to ensure some would survive a disaster the queen foresaw destroying Extalia.
- Worthy Opponent: Lady outright refers to Panther-Lily as "a badass Exceed", expressing shock at his Fun Size form.
- You Are Better Than You Think You Are: Dante gives one to Shagotte after learning the full context of her actions.Dante: Queeny, you're no Devil. The whole god-facade-thing you did was definitely messed up, but... given how some humans sometimes act, picking on those smaller than them, it makes a little sense; and you did what you thought you had to, both then and sending all those eggs here to Earthland. I don't really agree with it, but I do understand. You're definitely not a god, but you're not a devil either. But,... you may be more like a human than you might think, and that's a compliment.
- You Remind Me of X: Nichiya's lack of boundaries and infatuation with her 'parfum' reminds Erza of Ichiya, prompting disgust from her.
