- Get A Hold Of Yourself Man: Laxi has to do this to Mascula. He believes himself back in his own body while Laxi is dying.
- This Is Unforgivable!: Luca makes it clear he will never forgive Kai Yan for killing everyone in his village.Luca: Everyone had grown so close, but you hurt them—hell, you KILLED them! I'll never forgive you for that!
- Plot-Relevant Age-Up: Continuing from Part 1, Part 2 has Notte go through fairy adolescence and gained a bigger body. She would later through her own force of will wanting to fight alongside everyone that she takes on what shall be her future adult form. Though after exhausting her Mana she reverts back to her tiny fairy form.
- The Starscream: Harle outright admits to the party that he's this. He doesn't care who he works for, only using them to get to a position of power and then throw them aside.Chelle: My, aren't we loquacious. Have you found a new master from whose leash you can bark with borrowed authority, Harle?
Harle: On the contrary, I seek only to flatter my way into a master's good graces so I might use them to my own ends—be that master a royal family or even a church. - Wham Line: Nedrick's plan is laid out on why he wants the Dawnshard. He had a pact with a dragon, but not just with any dragon...Nedrick: The wyrm of genesis... Bahamut.
- What Happened to the Mouse?: Elisanne vanishes from the story completely once everyone is separated due to the blizzard, with no one remarking on her absence. She appears back alongside everyone in Part 2.
- Your Mind Makes It Real: The forest's illusions make fiends real so long as someone has the mental fortitude to see through the illusion. At worst, it becomes a bad case of Mind Rape that it even affects even non-organics like Laxi.
