The Hunters have discovered the final key to open the Demon Queen's cage is the baby of Rathimael, aka Bob Nelson. The team is hoping that Theresa Rosenthal's knowledge is solid, but are informed by the FBI that she has been found dead in the FBI headquarters. Agent Mathison agrees to help the player investigate, finding Theresa dead from a self-inflicted bullet wound to her head.Tropes:
- Breaking Old Trends: This is the one case where the victim's ghost becomes a suspect, basically, the victim helps solve her own murder!, and no, this isn't like the last case of last season.
- A Day in the Limelight: George becomes your partner for this case as the murder took place in FBI HQ.
- Devil in Disguise: Reggie turns out to be a literal demon, much like Zeke.
- Driven to Suicide: Theresa shot herself after a combination of Reggie injecting her with truth serum and digging into her mind.
- Evil All Along: It turns out that Reggie Pratt is a demon and the one who gave Gwen her nightmares.
- Fat Bastard: Reggie, when it's revealed he's actually a demon.. More specifically the one who tormented Gwen during the Midwest arc.
- Living MacGuffin: As it turns out, Hope herself is the final key.
- Murder by Suicide: Reggie drove Theresa to such despair with the truth serum and his normal demon mind powers that she shot herself just to escape her torture.
- Wham Episode: Hope is the final key herself and the demons use her to free their queen. What's more, she's apparently Chief Arrow's late wife.
