Xavier says it's controlling people with a creepy smile and blank stare on his face while the background suddenly goes dark. Cheyenne scoffs it off and tells him to focus on controlling something else.
- A Day in the Limelight: This episode shows what Xavier has been up to since his last appearance in "In Search of Lore"
- Dramatically Missing the Point: The anime the Heart of the Forest is inspired by is implicitly a tale about the Power of Friendship and a noble personal sacrifice to repair such a bond. Xavier just sees it as a way to get his throne back.
- Immediate Self-Contradiction: Randy says he will not say a single word yet he continues talking.
- Inadequate Inheritor: Kenneth justifies not giving the map to the Heart of the Forest to Xavier because he knew Xavier would feel entitled to it.
- Sketchy Successor: Cheyenne rants at Xavier that when she took the throne, everyone liked Kenneth more. She worked to foster loyalty by lavishing allies and making an example of enemies.
- Took a Level in Badass: Xavier was a spoiled, entitled brat who would bribe people or use Maya to get his way. But after using his past experiences to build new hobbies and training with his older sister, he becomes the Red Poncho, a Gadgeteer Genius armed with modified drones, advanced RC toys and archery skills rivaling the Green Poncho, who's athletic enough to do things on his own.
- Training Montage: Xavier trains so he can get back at Craig.
- Villainous BSoD: After losing his kingdom, Xavier spent weeks hiding away in his basement eating snacks and watching TV. He's only broken out of his funk because Cheyenne smelled it and called him out on it.
