In a story that runs at around the same time as the other story in this episode, we see what happens when the hamsters of the treehouse get left home alone.

Tropes that appear in this episode:

  • Accordion Man: The Sinister Felines from Atop the Litterbox end up with accordion bodies trying to squeeze into the Hamsters Next Door's den.
  • Bait-and-Switch: When the giant robot first attacks the treehouse, the silhouette through the dome makes it appear the Delightful Children are piloting it. The dome soon opens, revealing the Sinister Felines.
  • Comically Missing the Point: After getting ejected from the treehouse the first time, the Sinister Cats whip up a plan on the chalkboard calling for using a cake as bait for a trap. A dimwitted hamster observes this and focuses on the tasty treat part.
  • Disguised in Drag: Hamster Numbuh 4 distracts the Sinister Felines by dressing as a lady cat. All of them instantly fall for him.
  • Dope Slap: One of the other hamsters does this in response to his dimwitted fellow failing to grasp that the cake is a trap for their friends.
  • Duck Season, Rabbit Season: A variation occurs when Hamster Numbuh 1 tries to convince Hamster Numbuh 4 to distract the Sinister Felines. Hamster Numbuh 1 nods his head, Hamster Numbuh 4 shakes his head, Hamster Numbuh 1 shakes his head, Hamster Numbuh 4 nods. Cue Delayed "Oh, Crap!" reaction.
  • Exit, Pursued by a Bear: With their last act resulting in every doghouse in the neighborhood getting blown up, the Sinister Felines find themselves surrounded by dozens of angry dogs. The cats literally wave the white flag before running off into the distance, with the dogs chasing after them.
  • Got Volunteered: Hamster Numbuh 4 for the Disguised in Drag plan. His initial refusal leads to the Duck Season, Rabbit Season example.
  • Homage: This episode combines the usual KND plotline with an obvious loving parody of the old Tom and Jerry cartoons.
  • Motive Decay: The Sinister Felines' desire to eat the hamsters devolves into wanting to outright blow them all up after so many failed schemes.
  • Oh, Crap!:
    • In true Tom and Jerry fashion, the Sinister Felines have a lot of these reactions right before the slapstick ensues, particularly in the end when every dog in the neighborhood wants a piece of them.
    • The Hamsters Next Door are tied to dynamite. They do this when their dimwitted companion tries to free them with a blowtorch.
  • "Oh, Crap!" Smile: After the hamsters accidentally blow up the treehouse, the Hamsters Next Door land right in front of Sector V, who just saw their destroyed treehouse. They end up nervously laughing, and then panicking. Lampshaded by the text that appears:
    Hamsters in big trouble
  • Running Gag:
    • Text appears to identify characters, including the hamsters and the Sinister Felines from Atop the Litterbox. As mentioned in "Oh, Crap!" Smile, it appears one last time to identify "Hamsters in big trouble".
    • The Sinister Felines from Atop the Litterbox keep getting launched out of the treehouse, into the yard of a dog who tears up the cats in a Battle Discretion Shot.
  • Simultaneous Arcs: The plot of this episode occurs at the same time as the plot of "Operation: R.E.C.E.S.S.".
  • Suddenly Speaking: While most of the episode consists of no dialogue, when the Sinister Felines see the disguise Hamster Numbuh 4 is forced into they suddenly talk romantically, using voices similar to the Delightful Children from Down the Lane.
  • Uncatty Resemblance: The Hamsters Next Door and the Sinister Felines from Atop the Litterbox heavily resemble the KND and the DCFDTL respectively.
  • Wingding Eyes: Hamster Numbuh 2's eyes become hearts, after he gets a taste of the cake.
  • Wolf Whistle: After Hamster Numbuh 4 is Disguised in Drag, Hamster Numbuh 5 does this to get the Sinister Felines' full attention.
