The Malicious Mr. Mind is an episode from Season 2 of Batman: The Brave and the Bold.

- Batman Gambit: Mr. Mind knew that Sivana would betray him the second he was no longer needed, so he claimed they were building a more powerful Death Ray and actively rubbed his self-proclaimed superiority in Sivana's face. As expected, once the ray is complete, Sivana attempts to use Mr. Mind as a test subject, only to learn it's a growth ray.
- Big "NO!": Mr. Mind just as Batman (as a baby) is about to reverse the ray's effects.
- Big Shadow, Little Creature: Mr. Mind.
- Death Ray: Sivana has designed one and tasked the other members of the Monster Society with obtained the needed parts. Mr. Mind boasts that he can overhaul it to make it even more powerful, but he has another agenda.
- The Dog Bites Back: After Sivana berates them and Mr. Mind boasts he can defeat the Marvels, the other members of the Monster Society vote for a change in leadership.
- Dumbass Has a Point: When Sivana berates the groups for their failures, Mister Atom points out they were following his orders.
- Fountain of Youth: Batman is hit by a de-aging ray by Dr. Sivana.
- I Warned You: After Mr. Mind's true plan is revealed, Sivana brags to the other villains that he warned them about how the worm would be a terrible leader.
- Mythology Gag: Mr. Mind and Mr. Atom's designs in this cartoon are almost exact replicas of their 1981 incarnations from The Kid Super Power Hour, though their voices are much deeper.
- Shout-Out: After their first mission doesn't go so well, Sivana derides the rest of the Monster Society as a confederacy of dunce caps.
- Slave Liberation: In the teaser, Kamandi and Dr. Canus travel back in time to the present day, where Canus mistakes dogs for imprisoned sentients like himself and unsuccessfully tries to free them.
- Taught by Experience: Sivana notes he's learned that he can't beat the likes of Batman alone, so he formed the Monster Society.
- What Happened to the Mouse?: Dr. Sivana and the Monster Society disappear as soon as Mr. Mind transforms into a monstrous mutation.
- Mind himself is forgotten about when the Marvels turn Batman back to normal.
