Draculee, Draculaa has examples of
- Early-Installment Weirdness: "Draculee..." was actually produced as the pilot episode, and it shows. In particular, there is a running gag of Wakko eating everything in sight that does not show up in future shorts.
- No Sense of Direction: The Warners were going to Pennsylvania, but ended up in Transylvania. Going by tunnel ala Bugs Bunny probably didn't help...
- Oh, Crap!: The Tasmanian Devil upon seeing the Warners.
- Shout-Out:
- When Dracula introduces himself, he's asked, "Didn't you used to teach math on Sesame Street?"
- Thinking they're in Pennsylvania, Yakko says he knows how to talk to the locals on account of seeing Witness twice.
- When Dot takes Dracula's fangs and puts them on her ears, she asks him if they make her look like Sheena Easton. Sheena Easton and Tress MacNeille would later work together on Road Rovers.
- Realizing they're in the wrong place, the Warners try digging again and end up on another show, where a certain theme song is heard as a certain individual appears.
- Stupidity Is the Only Option: Subverted; while the Warners decide to approach Dracula's Obviously Evil castle, it's not because they think it's really safe. As Yakko says, it's because they know the plot.
- Vampire Episode: The Warners visit Dracula's castle in this episode, and Dracula tries unsuccessfully to drink Dot's blood, only to be yet another vicitim of the Warners.
- Wrong Turn at Albuquerque: In the end, Yakko attributes ending up in Transylvania to a left turn at Kennebunkport. No explanation for how they ended up in Tasmania, but Yakko just gives up and lets Wakko eat the map.
- Ye Olde Butcherede Englishe: Thinking Count Dracula is Amish, Yakko talks to him like this.

- Be Careful What You Wish For: Phrankenstein wanted her dog-monster to become more vicious, and at the end of the short, he did...towards her!
- Beehive Hairdo: Dr. Phrankenstein sports a black-beehive with three lightening bolts
- Bullying a Dragon: To punish him for his failures, Phrankenstein and her rat sidekick pop the dog-monster's treasured ball. Vicious mauling ensues.
- The Cameo: When Phrankenstein complains about the waxy floors, it is revealed that the Warners were hired as the floor waxers.
- No Celebrities Were Harmed: Dr. Phrankenstein's voice is based on Madeline Kahn's impression of Marlene Dietrich, as heard in films like Blazing Saddles and An American Tail.
- They Called Me Mad!: They also called Dr. Phrankenstein "Tall-toppy Big-bottom", but she doesn't know why.
- You Dirty Rat!: Phrankenstein has a rat for a sidekick.
Closing Tower Gag: Dot: (still wearing Dracula's fangs on her ears): "I still think they make me look like Sheena Easton!"
