The Aeon 14 novel series has grown considerably since its origin with Outsystem in 2012. We have posted a rough chronology here.

As new entries in the franchise are added monthly, this page should be assumed at any given time to be incomplete. Additionally, all spoilers are unmarked on this page. Caveat lector.

  6. Outsystem (2012): The first book published in The 'Verse. Tanis, Angela, and their team oversee security during the completion of Intrepid and attempt to foil the plot to destroy her before she can launch.
  7. A Path in the Darkness (2015): Intrepid is sabotaged passing LHS 1565 and Tanis and her friends must get the ship moving again and foil the saboteurs.
  8. Building Victoria (2016): Intrepid stops for repairs at Kapteyn's Star after the prior misadventure and allies with escaped slaves fleeing the Sirius system.

  10. To Fly Sabrina Orion War Prequel.
  11. Destiny Lost (2016): The one with the Jupiter-sized fusion bomb. Intrepid is catapulted into the late 9th Millennium by Time Dilation, where Faster-Than-Light Travel has become commonplace but humanity has fallen on harder times. Tanis is kidnapped by Space Pirates and allies with tramp freighter captain Sera to get back to her ship.
  12. Set the Galaxy on Fire (2016): Short Story anthology detailing the other characters' adventures during Destiny Lost.
  13. New Canaan (2017): Intrepid makes contact with the Future Generation Terraformers, now calling itself the Transcend, they learn of their conflict with the Orion Guard, and finally acquire an unsettled world where they can make their home.
  14. Orion Rising (2017): Tanis Richards, now the Governor of New Canaan, is drawn into the war between the Transcend and the Orion Guard.
  15. The Scipio Alliance (2017): The Orion Guard invasion of New Canaan has been repulsed, but the war is just beginning. Tanis returns to the Inner Stars in hopes of bringing the Scipian Empire into The Alliance.
  16. Attack on Thebes (2018): Crossover with Rika's Marauders and Perilous Alliance. After succeeding in their diplomatic mission to Scipio and defeating the Revolution Fleet at Silstrand, Tanis and Sera are caught in a Proxy War with Orion, backing a coalition of smaller nations in the Praesepe Cluster against the Nietzschean Empire.
  17. War on a Thousand Fronts (2018): While Sera distributes the Transcend's fleets to protect the alliance, Tanis must come to grips with what happened to her on Pyra's surface. In addition, Bob conveys a number of hard truths that will force her to re-think her role in humanity's future.
  18. Precipice of Darkness (2018): Tangel, the merged form of Tanis and Angela, continues to grapple with her ascension. Admiral Svetlana leads a Transcend fleet on a raid into the Orion Freedom Alliance to take pressure off the front lines. And the Core AIs begin to take a greater interest in the events in the Inner Stars.
  19. Airthan Ascendancy (2018): While Tangel recovers from her near-death experience in the previous book and fights to bring the League of Sentients into the Scipio Alliance to complete the encirclement of the Hegemony, Sera and her sisters begin preparing their assault on Airtha to kill the ascended AI that birthed them and reunify the Transcend.
  20. The Orion Front (2019): Tangel shifts her attention to engaging the Orion Guard directly as the core AIs continue to take more direct efforts.
  21. Starfire (2019): Tangel and the I2 arrive at Star City, desperate to bring the Dyson Sphere and its assets into the alliance, while her husband Joe pursues the Perilous Dream and their daughters.

    The Warlord 
A series of novels detailing the misadventures of Katrina of Victoria following the disappearance of Intrepid.
  1. The Woman Without a World (2017): Katrina follows Intrepid's trail into Kapteyn's Streamer and is catapulted four thousand years into the future. Enslaved on Bollam's World, she must become a warlord.
  2. The Woman Who Seized an Empire (2017): Katrina works her way up the ranks of the Blackadder organization in hopes of gaining the resources to escape.
  3. The Woman Who Lost Everything (2018): Now ruler of the Midditerra System, Katrina has more enemies than ever before. Hurting deeply inside even as she rules with an iron fist, she must find the strength to survive until Intrepid's arrival.

    Perseus Gate 
A series of caper novellas detailing the misadventures of the crew of Sabrina during the Time Skip in New Canaan. Think of it somewhat like a mix of Aeon 14's brand of semi-hard science fiction, Lost in Space, and Farscape.

  2. The Gate at the Grey Wolf Star (2017): The crew of Sabrina attempts to secure passage to New Canaan via the Transcend's artificial wormhole, but is stymied by the Transcend's State Sec.
  3. The World at the Edge of Space (2017): Transported to the distant Perseus Arm of the galaxy by a wormhole mishap, decades the wrong direction from New Canaan, and short of currency, Jessica is hired by a company in the local Town with a Dark Secret to be the mascot for a marketing campaign.
  4. The Dance on the Moons of Serenity (2017): Escaping from arms smugglers, Jessica and Cheeky become embroiled in the Feudal Future politics of the Serenity system.
  5. The Last Bastion of Star City (2017): The Sabrina crew visit Star City hoping to find a safe shortcut through a nebula that will shave years of their trip home.
  6. The Toll Road Between the Stars (2017): Entering the Perry Strait, a stretch of space where FTL is impossible, the Sabrina crew face a trap set by an old enemy.
  7. The Final Stroll on Perseus's Arm (2017): After finally getting beyond the Stillwater Nebula, the crew comes across a secret Orion Guard base that just might be their ticket home.

  9. A Meeting of Minds and Bodies (2018): The crew of Sabrina are stuck cleaning up a mess they made back in New Canaan: a Third Sentience War is brewing in the Inner Stars and they hope to stop it before it starts.
  10. A Deception and a Promise Kept (2018): Attacked on Cerka station with lines of communication down, the crew of Sabrina must engage in a station-wide battle with foes both physical and ephemeral in an attempt to save Virginis from itself.

    Rika's Marauders 
Subtitled "A Tale of Mercenaries, Cyborgs, and Mechanized Infantry", this series of novels set during the Orion War stars the Cyborg soldier Rika, set during the Orion War.
  • Rika Mechanized (2017): Prequel novel taking place during the Time Skip at the start of Outcast. Conscripted into the Genevian Alliance's Hopeless War with the Nietzscheans after stealing food, Rika must fight for her life as a "mech" with no rights but to kill and die for a country that despises her.
  1. Rika Outcast (2017): The Genevian-Nietzschean War is over, and Rika lost. Stuck on a nowhere Space Station and deep in debt to a Loan Shark, Rika is re-enslaved and sold at auction to the Marauders, a Private Military Contractor, and ordered to assassinate the President of the Theban Alliance.
  2. Rika Redeemed (2017): Rika is free, and has found a home with the Marauders. General Mill, head of the organization, offers her a solo mission to rescue a service buddy from the war.
  3. Rika Triumphant (2018): Rika is promoted and given command of a mech company in the Marauders as The Alliance takes the fight to the Nietzscheans.
  4. Rika Commander (2018): Rika discovers that she has saved the life of none other than Marshal Tanis Richards, military commander of the Transcend and one of the most powerful people in the galaxy. She offers the Marauders a chance to free Genevia from the Nietzscheans in exchange for their aid in the larger war with the Orion Freedom Alliance.
  5. Rika Infiltrator (2018): The Marauders continue their invasion of the Nietzschean Empire.
