Guiders of our Dreams is an audio drama written by Lydia Gentry, aka PhoenixOfFireflies. It is set thousands of years in the future on the planet Skiya and is about a 14 year old girl named Lexia Skleara who seeks vengeance against the empress who ordered the attack on her village that killed her family and the man who committed the act. This leads her to ancient heroes called Guiders, humans who can each control an element who originated from the long gone Earth. Artemis, Guider of the moon, tries to convince Lexia that she is the one called the Sky Tear who is destined to bring rain to Skiya and to defeat Eclipse, the strict empress of Skiya who destroyed Earth many years ago. Later on Lexia meets the man who murdered her family, searching for atonement for all his sins, and the the two learn to work together for a better goal: to bring down Eclipse and liberate Skiya.
The series is split up in chapters, usually one or two or sometimes three in each episode. Episodes include narration, voice acting for each character, sound effects, and occasionally music.

Provides examples of:
- Action Girl: Lexia, Artemis, Nat, or almost all of the girls in the whole audio drama for the matter.
- And I Must Scream: Fang's appearance. On that matter, many of the atrocities and 'sins' he has committed qualify for this trope too.
- Armor-Piercing Question: Fang does this often with Lexia, questioning her motives or anger. This surprisingly clears her head.
- Apocalypse How: Class 6. Eclipse destroys Earth's atmosphere, leaving the planet a gray lifeless form.
- Big Brother Mentor: Jacob to Lexia. Their father teaches Jacob how to sword fight and Lexia begs Jacob to teach her how, which he eventually gives in. Her father sees this and decides to give Lexia a chance.
- Dark Is Not Evil: Orpheus is surprisingly a very nice and kind person in which Lexia found out. He even holds special feelings for Artemis, which she found was sweet. What did you expect from the Guider of Darkness itself, possibly stronger than Eclipse, who is a freaking demon?
- Deal with the Devil: Artemis does this with Eclipse which lays the whole story out in the first place. Eclipse will create a new Earth if Artemis and the other Guiders will sleep for thousands of years and be awakened on Skiya. Many people blame Artemis for the whole deal while others praise her for giving a new world a chance. She keeps questioning herself: was it worth the risk and did I do the right thing?
- Downer Beginning: The whole freaking world is destroyed in the beginning! The prologue doesn't even tell us if Eclipse kept her part of the deal or not.
- The End of the World as We Know It: Eclipse destroys Earth's atmosphere, killing everything, including herself, in the process.
- {{Everybody's Dead, Dave}}: Zephyr and the Guiders realize that they are the only ones left of Earth when they are in the 'waiting room' for Skiya.
- God Save Us from the Queen!: Eclipse. Think about all the things she has done to to stop rebellions, and how she sadistically tortured Fang.
- Good Is Not Nice: Zephyr is a jerk. Also applies to when a Guider's powers corrupt them. One example is Orpheus and his darkness overcoming him.
- Heel–Face Turn: Fang. He starts to rebel against Eclipse once he's realized all of the things he's done and the people he has killed once the mind control device implanted on his head breaks off.
- Lady of Black Magic: The terrifying Eclipse.
- Little Miss Bad Ass: Lexia when she is motivated.
- Mind-Control Device: This is how Eclipse checks Fang in place and how he is mostly oblivious to the nasty things he's done.
- {Party Scattering: The Guiders are separated throughout Skiya once they are all awakened, and Artemis has to convince Lexia once they first meet to find the others. They eventually do find one another; but the fire Guider, Erik, is no where to be found, even in the 'waiting room' for Skiya.
- Reluctant Hero: Lexia. She doesn't want anything to do with the Guiders, besides that she's using them to get revenge against Eclipse.
- Tragic Hero:
Word of God has foreshadowed that several main characters will fall toward the end of the audio play. - Was Once a Man: Fang claims to be human once. The others don't know if this is true or not.
- World of Action Girls: The whole story is chock full of them.
