With RiffTrax focusing more on B-Movie riffs since 2012, rather than Hollywood blockbusters like they originally focused on, a lot of franchises remain incomplete with the riffers seemingly having no interest in tackling them in the foreseeable future.
- Indiana Jones: Temple of Doom and Last Crusade remain unriffed 15 years after Kingdom of the Crystal Skull's riff
- The Marvel Cinematic Universe has a lot of titles that remain to this day unriffed
- Only the first Hunger Games was riffed. Similarly, High School Musical only had the first installment mocked.
- The Jurassic Park series still has The Lost World: Jurassic Park and Jurassic World Dominion still without riffs (the third film was a "RiffTrax Presents" by Matthew Elliot)
- The Daniel Craig Casino Royale remains the only riffed entry in the James Bond franchise.
- Not in the Hollywood blockbuster category but Bridget and Mary Jo have confirmed on a Kickstarter reward livestream that they would not be able to finish The Teen Agers film series since they are unable to obtain decent transfers of the final three films ("Sarge Goes to College", "Smart Politics", and "Campus Sleuth"). At the moment, the only available copies of the films are bootlegs of extremely poor VHS quality.
