• A celebration goes horribly wrong when Xin Er's father is falsely accused of rebellion, leading to him being killed while Xin Er watches.
• Chiyun Rou tries to cut Chang Ru's hair and force her to become a nun for something that wasn't her fault. The scene is mostly a Tear Jerker, but Chang Ru's terrified pleading and Xin Er being Forced to Watch make it Nightmare Fuel.
• Min Feng did something to Zi Yan. What he did isn't specified, but it was bad enough to kill her.
• Chang Ru, apparently a Nice Girl and the Token Good Teammate in the Li family, is really a Manipulative Bitch. It's scary to realise how well she was able to fool everyone, and for how long.
