- Ridley's unwilling trasformation into Meta Ridley—to the point where the author gave a preemptive warning to readers in the chapter this moment takes place in. For a fanfic as (mostly) light-hearted as this one, this moment looks like it came out of Mortal Kombat than Smash Bros.
- To make a long story short (and spare you the details), Mad Jack burns Ridley's eyes out, tears off his tail and wings, and rips the Space Pirate's lower jaw clean off his face. No wonder that Ridley wanted to kill Mad Jack after the operation he gave him...
- While trekking through the Mysterious Dimension, Group 5 ends up in Brookhaven Hospital. They encounter messages written in blood on the walls, and eventually get chased by Pyramid Head himself.
- The Shroobs had managed to get ahold of Wolf and partly shroobified him, leaving him with their trademark black and red eye and causing him to cough up spore infested hairballs. And while we (mercifully) don’t see what the process consisted of, the only hint we get of what happened was that he was aware while they were shroobifying him, as he breaks out of the lab they were holding him in and later comments to Fox’s team how they had hurt him when they encounter him.
