  • When Gabriel buys the compass that leads to the Butterfly Miraculous, he has a brief vision of Paris in ruins, showing what this path will lead to. This does not deter him.
  • Nooroo tells Gabriel that the Miraculouses only appear during times of chaos.
Gabriel: If chaos is the way, then I will burn the world and lose myself in the flames to do so.
  • There is a dungeon decorated with bones in the depths of Paris, housing all sorts of eccentric criminals. Hawk Moth releases them and makes them into his minions, meaning that unlike in the show where most of the villains are good people who are Brainwashed and Crazy, most of the foes the movie's Ladybug and Cat Noir fight are bad people made even more dangerous.
  • When Ladybug and Cat Noir defeat the Mime and Magician, a twisted image of Hawk Moth's face appears, and he promises that there will be no mercy.
  • Hawk Moth akumatizes himself, despite thinking he might die in the process, and becomes a Person of Mass Destruction. He creates countless explosions across the entire city, and swarm of akumas wreck everything and attack people. Paris is quickly in ruins, just as Gabriel's vision had predicted.
  • As Ladybug is pulling an unconscious Cat Noir out of the Seine, Hawk Moth lands on its surface and starts turning the whole river to lava, while both heroes are still inside. Ladybug just barely manages to drag Cat Noir onto some wreckage in time.
  • Hawk Moth immediately uses a Psychic Strangle on Ladybug, and then telekinetically pulls her earrings off. There's a distinct cracking noise as he contorts the now defenseless Marinette, and then he violently throws her aside.
Hawk Moth: I can feel your bones shaking! You're just a scared little girl aren't you?
  • When Cat Noir injures Hawk Moth, he seemingly forgets about taking the Miraculous and instead focuses on torturing Cat Noir. Hawk Moth lifts Cat Noir in the air with a Psychic Strangle and creates a whirlwind of akumas around him, which start slashing him all over his body. Hawk Moth finally attempts to straight up kill him with a blast of energy, which Marinette only barely manages to save him from.
