- The Opening Narration has Master Fu explain how the holders of the Ladybug and Black Cat Miraculouses must unite, and achieve a power stronger than death. This is accompanied by images of Ladybug and Cat Noir, who spin around each other before embracing.
- Alya protects Marinette from Chloé by filming her bullying, and then becomes her first friend. Marinette's tendency to cause disasters isn't a problem, Alya just thinks it's cool.
- When Marinette goes to the library to hide from Chloé, she and Adrien meet for the first time. He immediately notices that she's been crying, and asks if she's okay. Marinette takes a liking to him, causing her to fall over while she's distracted. She's extremely embarrassed, but Adrien just offers her a hand, causing her to fully start crushing on him. When Adrien leaves the library, he says "She's so weird." in an endearing way.
- Despite Adrien being a complete loner (seemingly for close to a decade), Nino is still super friendly towards him, and invites him to the fair.
- When Marinette is trying to hide from Chloé in an alley, Sabrina spots her. Marinette silently pleads for her not to say anything, and Sabrina tells Chloé she's not there and walks away.
- Ladybug and Cat Noir's first meeting is full of bickering and sass, but when Cat Noir notices that Ladybug is afraid to be a hero, he becomes quite encouraging. He tells her that failure isn't her enemy, fear is. She seems a bit moved by this, before brushing it off and leaving.
- After the death of his mother, Adrien closed himself off to other people, deciding that he would rather be alone than feel the pain of losing someone he loves again. But that all changes when he meets Ladybug, because being with her is worth the risk of getting hurt.
- Adrien's conversation with Plagg after the Gargoyle fight is mostly just him gushing about how cool and kind Ladybug is, and wondering how he can impress her.
- When Tom sneaks into the fair to keep an eye on Marinette (because of the recent supervillain attacks), she mentions him to Adrien without knowing he is there. This seems like a setup for a Right Behind Me scenario, but Adrien actually says that owning a bakery is cool, and Marinette talks about how great her dad is.
- Cat Noir is super impressed by how clever Ladybug is after she neutralizes the Balloon Monster. In a moment of extreme humility, he tells Alya that he's just her sidekick. Ladybug responds that no, they're partners.
- During the Good-Times Montage, there is a moment where we see Adrien opening up to Marinette about his mom. Considering this is Adrien we're talking about, this shows that she's become a truly trusted friend to him.
- Ladybug and Cat Noir eat ice cream together on a rooftop. They tease each other a bit, before getting into a playful sparring match, which ends with Cat Noir kabe-doning Ladybug. When she says she has to go, he lowers one of his arms to let her, but at the same time asks her to stay.
- As preparation for his Serenade Your Lover Love Confession, Cat Noir cleans up the abandoned theatre that his mom used to perform at, but doesn't drive away the stray cats that take shelter there.
- When Ladybug first arrives at the scene to meet up with Cat Noir, he isn’t anywhere to be seen. Ladybug then finds claw marks and Cat’s baton and is horrified at the prospect that her partner had been attacked/kidnapped and she failed to reach him in time. Cat Noir reveals himself to be okay, teasing that she does care about him, with Ladybug playfully sassing him back for scaring her.
- "Stronger Together" is essentially one continuous Heartwarming Moment until the last minute. Cat Noir sings about how Ladybug made him happy again, Ladybug sings about how Cat Noir pushed her through her doubts and made her believe in herself. They affirm that they are stronger together, there is confirmation that Ladybug does have feelings for Cat Noir (even if she chooses Adrien), and Cat Noir says possibly the most heartfelt line in the entire movie.Cat Noir: You save the world every day with your mask, but the girl behind it saved my heart.
- Even if it's too little too late, Gabriel does show concern for Adrien when he was gone and Gabriel couldn't contact him.
- When Ladybug is attending to Cat Noir while he's unconscious, Hawk Moth approaches them. Despite the massive threat he poses to her, the only thing Ladybug can think about is Cat Noir's safety.Ladybug: Don't touch him!
- After Hawk Moth takes Marinette's Miraculous and tries to do the same to Cat Noir, Marinette has an Imagine Spot of Tikki urging her to get up and keep fighting. Since this is just Marinette's imagination, she has completely overcome her self-doubt.Imaginary Tikki: Ladybug doesn't exist without you. And as long as love will reign over fear in your heart, you don't need a mask to be who you already are.
- As Hawk Moth tries to kill Cat Noir with a blast of energy, Marinette performs a Diving Save on him, with no fear for her own safety. This resembles the images of Ladybug and Cat Noir embracing at the beginning of the movie, and when Hawk Moth's hatred-based power touches them, it harmlessly dissipates.
- Hawk Moth sees Cat Noir's partially exposed face and recognizes him as Adrien. All of Gabriel's hatred instantly vanishes, and he transforms back.Gabriel: Look at you. What have I done? My little boy.
- There are several images detailing the Agrestes' backstory.
- Gabriel and Emilie meeting as little kids.
- Gabriel and Emilie kissing while she is pregnant.
- Adrien as an infant with his parents, which Gabriel describes as "the greatest gift was given to us".
- The family on Adrien's third birthday.
- Gabriel and Adrien happily fishing together.
- Gabriel realizes that the "power stronger than death" created by uniting the Miraculouses was just Metaphorically True.Gabriel: I understand now. The only power stronger than death... is love.
- Gabriel repents for everything he did and breaks down crying. Despite all the awful things he was responsible for, Adrien chooses to forgive his father. He tells him that it's time to let Emilie go, and then the two hug. They are then embraced by an image of Emilie. Earlier, they both had Imagine Spots where she disappeared when they tried to touch her, but not this time.
- Much like Gabriel, Adrien was emotionally broken by Emilie's death, causing him to withdraw from other people. Gabriel says that part of his motivation for bringing Emilie back was so Adrien could be happy again. But unlike Gabriel, Adrien was getting better, largely thanks to Ladybug. Adrien telling Gabriel that it's time to let her go shows the completion of Adrien's healing.
- The reason that Adrien doesn't discover Ladybug's secret identity in this scene is because from the moment Gabriel revealed himself, Adrien never took his eyes off his father.
- After returning the Butterfly Miraculous to Master Fu, Ladybug tells the citizens of Paris that peace has returned, and if they are ever threatened again, The Power of Love will protect them. A little girl starts chanting Ladybug's name, and everybody joins in (even Chloé). With the strength of everybody's love, Ladybug manages to summon a World-Healing Wave. The people didn't know this was going to happen, but they showed their unwavering support anyway.
- Despite his father being a known supervillain and going to prison, Adrien does not fall back into sorrow and self-isolation. Instead, he attends the winter ball and seems somewhat optimistic, his main concern being that he misses Ladybug.
- As Adrien wonders where Ladybug is, Marinette calls out "Cat Noir". He is surprised when he sees Marinette. She then takes off the mask he is wearing (representing how she knows and accepts who he is), before putting it on herself to stage her own Dramatic Unmask. She then reveals her secret identity to him. Adrien, upon learning that his trusted friend is the girl he loves, immediately starts crying Tears of Joy. Marinette tosses the mask aside (representing no more secrets), and the two join hands and begin slow dancing. The couple shares a passionate kiss as the film ends.
